man, Acuna has really fallen off a little bit in the hobby hasn't he?

it's all Vlad, Tatis, and Ohtani right now, while Soto and Acuna have taken a back seat for now.

i was checking out some of his cards the other day, his PSA 10 Heritage Action rookie was around $600...it was around $1K back in Spring Training.

Looks like PSA 10s sold between $500-$700 in Feb/March according to terapeak and one auction broke $600 in that timeframe. Last 3 auctions have been between $595-$630.

Yup, but honestly, long term I still like Acuna more than Ohtani, Soto, and Vlad.

That’s the times we are in! Who ever is the hottest is at the top. Add in the price drop overall in the hobby, he has come down a nice bit. When Tatis had that small dry spell a couple of weeks back his cards started to come down also.

It is a crazy market, but hold those Ronny’s, he will go on a tear again soon.

Acuna has cooled a bit, fallen off? Not quite. Heritage is a bad example if you want a market snapshot though because Heritage as a set is losing steam.

I was glad that he cooled just a bit though, because I was finally able to buy something at a price point that I liked.

Baseball careers are a marathon not a sprint and Ronny has the goods.

I deal in a lot of different collectibles. All areas overall are down from what they were a couple of months ago. (With the only exception that I deal heavily in being original comic book art. that stuff is still nuclear) There are exceptions in all areas that are doing better than that period. Vlad, and Tatis stuff seem to be doing better at the moment, but it's not like Ronald's stuff has fallen off a cliff. He's still way up from a year ago. Soto's stuff is way closer to falling off of a cliff because of the lofty expectations that were instilled during the crazy pumping going on in the offseason. He's had a very unspectacular first half. Ronald has not. He's the leading vote getter for the AS game for a reason. Don't lump Ronnie in with Soto. If Ronnie was putting up the same #'s as him and his cards had dipped as much as him then yeah, go for it. Neither of those things are happening.

Yep I hear that, did the same when it jumped like crazy at the beginning of the season.
Now with the correction I was able to add a Bat down to my collection for not very much extra money.

Sure they do. That's why it's priced about 1/4 the price of the bat down.

Edited to add. It's not the card but as someone else mentioned. Heritage doesn't attract like it once did.

Take a breath buddy. Re-read what I wrote. I never said that.

People asked why the action Heritage is priced where it is at. I gave
only my opinion. Collect and buy what you like. If I hat a bunch of
Heritage Action Acuna cards I'd sell them to you for $600 each. This way you could get your
fill.

Acuna is my favorite player on my favorite team, but he's really fallen out of the conversation overall in terms of best players right now because Tatis, Ohtani, and Vlad Jr and really on a tear right now.

Acuna meanwhile, is having a good season, and his stolen bases have gone up, but he seems to either be really hot, or really cold, there's no in the middle with him.

and then when he gets hot, he gets hurt. it's frustrating.

also, because hes lead off, his RBI numbers aren't there. I wish hed drop back to the 2 or 3 spot, ahead of Freeman, but behind Ozzie. I wish Ender would start hitting again like he did in 2017.
