Lakers win in Boston (full squad) without Bron Bron and AD.

Is Darvin Ham the real issue?

This is the last chance the Buss family have to take back the franchise from the LeBron/Klutch stranglehold with something of value in the chest (bubble ring notwithstanding). I don't think they have the balls to do it, because it would require huge balls. And I think Jeanie is too nice. The backlash from James' sphere of influence would be immense, not to mention the stans. I would imagine OG Laker fans want to rebuild and be done with all of LeBrons sh*t... they long done.

Or be this ultra sporadic team where your 'leader' phones in games, and everybody walks on eggshells with no chemistry, no morale, no leadership on the floor and no heart until LeBron is being wheeled off in a wheelchair? They win a game and apparently are contenders, fast-forward to the next game everybody needs to be traded and fired. Circus!

Clipping the nails and dropping hourglasses. Nobody believes the bulls*^t narrative he makes his teammates better anymore right? I get the ego makes great but the toxicity is far outweighing at this point.

I wonder if LeAlteriorMotives actually plans on gaining ownership or stake in the Lakers down the line and not some Vegas team.

But I actually think both games could have been won without him. Defense shrivels against physical teams.

Brunson is in fact a demon, wrong-footed my man on multiple occasions. On the plus side, Nesmith put together a rim attack blow-by dunk that Walt Frazier said he'd never seen before. Hard to explain, it was like a running back tomahawk move.

What a game from Russ! 25,000 career points

Came in with the team down 20-6 and completely changed the momentum with his pace and 4 quick assists.

What a luxury the Clips have with their 2 HOF guards. The Beard was stinking it up tonight, must've been on the turps

That performance streak in the playoffs while Luka was sidelined was the signal. Real ones been knowing.

Non-viet Brunson is himmy.
Brunson was terrible in the playoffs the two seasons previous to the WCF run. Of course, they played Kawhi and the Clippers so that may have had something to do with it. I think the Mavs were putting too much weight on playoff performance knowing that's all that matters when you have a superstar already in Luka.

All-time terrible blunder that the Mavs didn't know what they had in Brunson to at least sign and trade him (if they didn't think he'd work with Luka).

Would've been a nice team with a fully developed Brunson, a healthy and happy KP, and Luka.

Dallas could have resigned him. Brunson wanted $15M in Feb 2022. Cuban said no. Brunson went on a heater the rest of the season, and told Cuban and the Mavs to #@#@#@#@ off in free agency.

At the beginning of 2022, it was not clear Brunson was capable of being a good #2. But he also wasn’t asking to be paid like one. As usual, the front office botched this. That offseason they lost Brunson for nothing, and their big signing was JaVale McGee. Then they doubled down on their mistake by trading for Kyrie. Then tripled down on it by signing him to a new contract. His personal issues aside, Kyrie makes absolutely no sense being paired with Luka. The Mavs will be a 6-10 seed and see an early exit yet again. A laughable franchise run by the Jerry Jones of the NBA.

Duron are you from NY? Die hard Knicks fan here from the Oakley Ewing and Starks days. Sadly the Houston floater against Miami is my all time Knicks highlight a close second is the LJ 4 point play.

Brunson only received 16 minutes a game and was still on the bench rotation in his first playoff performance 2021. 8 points in 16 minutes isn't dismal for the role that he was given.

His second year playoff performance (right before the trade) when he was promoted to starter during the regular season was actually when he blossomed.

In fact, he averaged nearly 28 a game in Luka's 3 game absence in the opening round against Utah, and basically carried the team as the alpha allowing them to advance while giving Doncic ample time to heal up.

All this after a regular season averaging nearly 16 on 50% shooting which is pretty absurd for a guy of his size and stature.

But again, only 12 shots a game. Dallas was unwilling to shift Luka's role to optimize Jalen's obvious potential. The same potential the Knicks saw, which is why they put up the bag.

If Luka can ever morph his offensive game to more a Jokic role where he's throttled his scoring to the mid to high 2x's, I think it will be massively beneficial to himself and the team. The same Yoker that's happy to take the backseat and allow Bubble Alpaca to cook to his content when April hits.

As of today, we really have yet to see him maximize the potential of a 1b, which is probably due to the fact that offensive rhythm rarely develops.

Helluva offensive talent, but like prime Harden...it presents the same issues when it comes to roster construction and playcalling.

Yea, Staten Island but spent a lot of my childhood in Brooklyn. Hard to forget the moments you mentioned, hopefully this could be the start of some new memories.

Nice defensive battle. Scrappy. Playoff atmosphere in early Feb.

I'm present for it.

Also Clyde is supposedly wearing a cowsuit but I still haven’t spotted him in the crowd

Donte looks like the type of dude rizzing shorties outside a bodega on Jamaica Ave...telling them he's an eighth dominican on his great grandfather's side.

Rofl. Exactamente.

He has also successfully absorbed all Wesley Snipes shaded mannerisms and accents.

It ain’t easy to do. Contrary to popular belief, Arcidiacono is the sole Italian American on this squad.
