Would’ve made things interesting if Hassell fell even further as I was not targeting him, but was prepared for anything. Was expecting him to go higher, but the run on prospect pitchers changed that

This guy was on a major league roster last year but looks like he was dropped. As the only team without a pitcher on his minor league roster glad to get him.

Glad I took Matos then because I was thinking about passing him up for another prospect in hopes that people didn’t know who he was yet as he has not made it on any top 100 lists yet.

Had Martinez fairly high on my list as well, but have a few MI prospects already and wanted to build up a few SPs again. After Mize graduates this year I won't have any left. Pitching prospects never fail, after all

I think out of all 4 pitching prospects I have drafted, only 1 has panned out (and that is if you consider Deivi Garcia’s success at the end of the season panning out). Keller and Dunn have both been pretty inconsistent and Morejon just doesn’t have enough innings on him for me to feel either way about him yet. Pitching is tough because it is very valuable in this league format, but forecasting and projecting pitching prospects is very unpredictable

Oh yeah my last post was heavy sarcasm. But I feel good about my group of prospect bats so I'm ok with taking some chances

Looking back at my SP prospects over the years- it's actually not too bad over the last 2ish years. At one point or another I've had Pearson, Mize, Sixto, Graterol, and Singer. No huge wins there yet but all at least have some good value. But if we go back to the first year or two of the league, my top pitching prospects were Groome, Gonsalves, and Luiz Gohara

Major league roster 2017
Alex Reyes, Brent Honeywell - Traded in part for verlander when they had hype. I actually thought that trade would come back to bite me when I made the deal.

2017
Anderson Espinosa - Yup..... My first minor league pick has barely seen the field
James Kaprielian - At least hes pitching still and could be in the leagues
Domingo Acevedo - Nope
Kolby Allard - Ehh
Ian Anderson - WOOO a hit
JB Bukauskas - ehh

2018
Alec Hansen - Yup... continues

2018 midseason
Chris Paddack - Dunno how he was dropped and then how he fell to the 4th in the midseason. But hey back to batting over 200

2019
Learned my lesson - stayed away (debated Lodolo vs xavier edwards though)

so I've hit 2/10 on pitchers so far

I like how in Round 5 Brendan McKay/Jo Adell/Ronald Acuña/Juan Soto all went back to back to back to back picks. Seems like all of the talent was buried in that round
