But its not like they only had solo HRs
They have had 2 run Hrs, 3 run Hrs in this series, so people are getting on base before home runs, (except for the back to back to back ones...

That’s pretty much true but out of the 14 home runs in these past 2 games most were solo. Last night 4 of the 5 were solo except for Stanton’s in extra innings and the only reason it wasn’t solo was the ghost runner. In the 9 homer game I believe 6 were solo. I am not complaining and I am glad they are coming in bunches. What’s pretty wild is out of the 16 hits in game one 9 were homers.

Gil won’t last too long pitching like he is.

At least a scoreless first.

Rice ties it with a blast but they’re going to have to hit more than homers tonight.

First run not via the home run after 20 that tied a record.

Doval is as bad as the Giants fans said he was. Lucky to be tied going into the bottom of the 6th. 3 innings for Boone to misuse the bullpen.

And the scary thing was up until Goldschmidts error and Anthony’s 2 run bomb with 2 outs in the 9th off of De Los Santos they could’ve came to bat only down 4-3. This loss washed away the happiness of winning 7 of their last 8.

And solo home runs are really boring....

Yankees scored 19 runs over the two games on 14 home runs, 10 of which were solo shots.

The Yankees are looking like a World Series team! Unfortunately, that’s the 2024 World Series team.

Yes, bad pitching from Gil (too many walks) and the error bug has hit the team again. I never thought I would say I'd miss Torres, but man, Jazz's attitude and him just air mailing balls way over the head of first base on a routing double play is crazy.

I truly love the "talking to my 3rd base coach and not paying attention" to get picked off play. I wonder if the Red Sox manager hollered at his coach in the dugout like Boone did to our 1st base coach over Jazz's dumb play a few games back.

Proving once again that they can only beat bad teams.

Rookie Roman Anthony homers, drives in 3 in Yankee Stadium debut as Red Sox outlast Yanks 6-3

You don't miss Torres. Cannot play in the Bronx.

I don't want to lose but I'd rather lose from the errors than from not hitting.

More bargain basement garbage just like 2 of the 3 pitchers they got at the trade deadline. The jury is still out on Bednar.

All this done against a Tampa team who has already given up on the season.
