I don't love the look of this year's set, at least compared to last year's, but I'm excited for my four boxes to come, hopefully by Saturday

Posted this also in the Brooklyn Collection thread, but…I will say that, in my opinion, the Autos this year look amazing. The die cuts look really good. The base cards are horrible looking. Maybe 20% of them look good. Just saw a Bob Gibson and Christy Matthewson on eBay and they are just awful.

Why would Topps cap it? I know they say there's "limited availability" but that could just be a straight up lie?

Why would they need to cap it when all they have to worry about is one auto-less 20 card sets and the complete sets? Just print more?

If you don't give the illusion of scarcity and attempt to cause FOMO, people may realize its not all that great of a deal.

A guaranteed option to buy 1 box of the 6 specific products listed is a reason to cap. It would not just be the stock of MC sets.

this is most likely what happened, there are definitely people who tried to get multiple and were cancelled.

I disagree. MC members just get access to the presale. There's nothing about being guaranteed to be able to buy those boxes.

I'm happy with this. I can finally get a membership after three years of trying instead of someone who has 20 accounts.
