And the Grizzlies thumped the Clippers at their crib! Lol

Ja and JJJ looked very good as a 1-2 punch!

I am a Pistons fan, but not a Basketball card collector (baseball here)

If buying Sekou....what is a good card to get for PC?

Sure did.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZI0RY4U9Gc

JJJ goes right at Kawhi and scores at 0:26, and Morant does the same at 2:58. Then at 4:43 Morant to JJJ who fakes out and ducks between Harrell+Kawhi for the lay-in.

Wow 4 point play for Bjelica to tie the game with 4.2 left. Overtime please!

This is about as close as you can get.... I think Harden will get it this year. He's been on fire.

He'll have to have the Rockets as a top 2 seed in the west AND keep up the 40ppg with high efficiency narrative to have a chance. Giannis plays 2 way ball...and it looks like they're going to run away with the East.

It's most likely going to be a 2 man race...but I think Giannis gets it again.

I think this list is accurate. One of those two will win it. They’re playing at such a high level that both would need to fall off entirely for anyone else to stand a chance. Giannis is a monster on both ends and Harden has been virtually unstoppable. There is strong talent elsewhere, but those two are in a class of their own.

Barring injury or the Rockets winning the West, I can't imagine Harden winning it over Giannis. As Harden knows, the media's narrative is not written for him to win.

The basketball reference MVP list is alright. I don't necessarily think the probability percentages are very accurate though.

PER rankings have historically shown which players are most likely to win an MVP

Giannis and Harden are in the same spots on both lists but I'm looking beyond those 2. Personally I think Luka and LeBron are still very much in contention and there's a lot of basketball left to be played. For me I would still have Giannis in 1st place by a considerable margin but I don't see the #2 postion being a runaway for Harden.

Ahhh, good old PER.....

A metric that puts Kyrie, Hassan Whiteside, and Enes Kanter in the top 10.

There is no perfect metric but I believe that 17 of the last 23 MVP's also led the league in PER. (Can't find the article I read it in.)

Watch Harden play more. I watched him single handedly merk my 76ers the other day. The guy is unguardable. Ben Simmons has been shutting down everyone aside from a game where Devin Booker got real hot and was making everything. He couldn’t do anything to stop Harden. Harden roasted Josh Richardson over and over too. Check out the YouTube highlights of that game and ditch the PER VORP plus minus garbage. Harden is shooting career high %s across the board at over 38 PPG. What makes him MVP worthy? 40 PPG? 50 PPG with no misses ever?

I've seen him play quite a bit. I think he's one of the greatest scorers we've seen. I just don't think that's enough to change voters minds over Giannis. People dislike him and we all know why. That horse has long been dead.

How many points would Giannis be averaging if he played 7 more minutes a game?

I agree with both of you and think Giannis has a good lead this moment, but it's not untouchable...

If Feb/March comes when ppl start paying attention to basketball and Harden keeps playing the way he has been, all it would take is a slip up where the Bucks lose 4 of 5 games for Harden to get right in it.

Starting Jan 18 Sunday basketball national broadcasts start on ABC.

Rockets have 4 games:
Lakers
Celtics
Pels
Blazers

Bucks have 3 games:
76ers
Celtics
Warriors

These games can shift opinion... IMO the two biggest will be Harden vs Lakers and Giannis vs 76ers.

Can't wait

3 of these are exactly who I'd expect to see, but wasn't expecting Jokic, even though he did struggle all of November... and didn't expect to see AD since I see people hyping him [and his play so far this season] daily on here.

Least Efficient Jump Shooters 2019-20*

1. Russell Westbrook ... 36.4 eFG%
2. Nikola Jokic ............. 42.2
3. Collin Sexton ........... 42.4
4. Anthony Davis ......... 43.1
5. Andrew Wiggins ...... 43.1

*min. 200 attempts
Edit - Embiid would be tied with AD/Wiggins if he qualified [only 115 attempts]. Giannis, the one everyone claims cannot shoot, is well ahead at 46.4% on 176 sttempts.

I would like to know where he came up with those numbers. Giannis is shooting 34.7% outside 3 feet. AD isn't great, but he is better than Giannis, shooting 37.4% outside 3 feet. Giannis has taken 176 3 pointers shooting 33.5%. How are those not jump shots? His numbers are either cherry picked and wrong or just wrong.

Not sure, but it is twitter, you can ask. I'm trying to find the rest of the list, will let you know when I do.
