Loved these guys for almost 10 years now and happy to have plans to see em live for the 1st time in February. These southern boys don't make it out west very often.

Big late 90's/early 2000's pop punk fan. This guy is new but gives a feel good old school feel. Already done a mixtape with Travis Barker. Really like this song

In today's edition of things that make you feel old.- This was 38 freakin years ago. I was a mild fan in their heyday but have gained appreciation in my old(er) age. I also respect that they went away and stayed gone, preserving the legacy a bit.

I appreciate the going back to yesteryear thought process. I can’t find any newer music that impresses me so I have been going back to bands from my teens and early.20’s that I overlooked when they were popular, I am 60 so lots of late 70’s early 80’s stuff.

Yup- always looking back at the goodies we were lucky enough to experience back in the day. Whether or not we knew it at the time.
Luckily I've been able to find a handful of current acts I enjoy too. Or what I call "new" classic rock. You know, singer, guitar(or 2), bass and drums outfits. Problem is this music can't be found on the radio so its all recommendations from friends, opening acts for bands I go to see, etc.
I firmly believe there is a ton of good new rock music out there but you certainly gotta dig around and hit smaller clubs to find it.

See people thought indie labels would bring more good bands but all it did was make us have to sift through more garbage to find the music we like. Not many clubs for me to hit in Mississippi but I get out to Memphis and New Orleans every once in awhile to see some different bands.

I have a birthday approaching(49 in December) and have been down a nostalgic rabbit hole on youtube. Here's a couple fine examples of some incredible artists aging very gracefully.
