3 innings of no baserunners for both teams pretty boring so far. Who player wise will get the Yankees first hit. Well Rodon walked number 9 hitter Jake Marsee so 3 innings not quite done. I hate walks especially to the number 9 hitter.

Grisham with the first hit. Leadoff single one hopped the wall but played perfectly to prevent a double.

Nice 3 run 5th no homers 4 singles and a couple of stolen bases 1 by Volpe and 1 by Dominguez. Runs batted in 1 for Dominguez and 2 by Bellinger. All after 2 outs.

My goodness didn’t take long for the new guys to fall into Boone’s trap. He doesn’t know how to manage a bullpen and never will.

It all goes back to Rodon though. Staked to a 6-0 lead and couldn’t get out of the 5th before Loaisiga came in to make it 6-4. Grisham made it 9-4 only to have the new bullpen guys of Bird and Bednar let the Marlins actually take the 10-9 lead. Volpe led off the 8th with a homer but that was it. 10-10 going into the bottom of the 8th and Boone left Bednar in. He really doesn’t know how to manage the bullpen and now he has 3 new guys to screw around with.

McMahon gives them the lead with a 2 out single in the 9th 11-10 after Caballero pinch ran for Rice and stole second.

Volpe doubles and drives in McMahon with his 4th hit of the night. 12-10 Yankees lead.

Volpe stole 3rd but Wells flew out to left. After blowing 6-0’and 9-4 leads 2 runs is not close to being a safe lead.

And now Boone is using the 3rd new guy Camilo Duval why not it only would make sense for all 3 bullpen pickups to have a part in this one.

3-2 count. Who would’ve thought the Yankees would score 12 runs and possibly lose. Walk 1st and 2nd one out single to right and the other new guy Caballero lets the ball get by him after he was put in right to bring Bellinger to first 12-12 man on 3rd one out.

Too bad this was one of the 100 blackouts on MLB.TV. Couldn't see this epic meltdown.

Trust me it was Boone mismanaging at his finest. He made sure he gave all the new acquisitions a chance to fail.
