I went out to dinner for my birthday and when I left, I put it on in my truck and headed to a friend's house. A case of beer later, heading home, and still had 3 innings to spare before the end of it.

Go Sox! Good win.

That's what u want to hear from your shortstop:

"I don't know what I'm doing out there," Bogaerts said of his PAs

Yea Bogaert's has no clue. He's 8/19, 2 Runs, 4 RBI's and a SB. He also looks way better defensively. Great analysis in this thread as usual.

We where saying that sarcastically. He has looked great. He has fielded much better on the left side and has made some great running plays in front of second. He is taking more pitches every at bat and is driving it up the middle with confidence. But thank your input into this thread, if you want analysis go to ESPN not here. I think this thread is fine, but if you have a problem with it you can gladly buzz off.

Great game last night we were some of the few who actually stayed up, and I was referring to our boy Metsplaya with the clueless quote! LOL

Have a good one, GO SOX.

Glad to see some of the bench players getting a start today. Hanley, Victorino and Betts need a day off after yesterday

Mighty Joe Kelly has now retired 14 straight Yankee hitters!!

I don't think you could have asked for a better start from Kelly today:

6 Inn. / 1 H / 1R / 2W / 7K

Not sure he will come back in the 7th inning as he has thrown 84 pitches through 6 Inn., not bad but considering he had been shut down in Spring Training, I would think they don't want to push their luck

Thin bullpen today for both teams so runs are at a premium!

A little update for you awz50 Pedey just roped a Double to deep centerfield and the Sox have opened up a 5-1 lead !!

Well this should be the final line for Joe Kelly: 7 Inn./ 1H / 1R / 2W / 8K, not bad for a guy who was supposed to be making a start for the Greenville Drive.

He finished up his day by retiring 17 Yankees in a row, not too shabby Mr. Kelly and his start could not come at a better time considering the state of the BP from last nights marathon.

Very bizarre turn of events, the Sox get the replay overturned come off the field and go back to batting and score 3 runs!!

I've never seen anything like that happen before, great day for Brock Holt 4/5 with 3 RBI's

And they have accomplished this record with Ortiz (3-17) Napoil (0-15) & Betts (4-21) not exactly what Sox fans were expecting, but if you continue to get 6-7 solid innings from your starters then 'everything should be alright'!
