I'm on quite the heater.

Fell asleep on the D. Wade tonight and missed out.

Just the one lately. Sigh

Highly motivated to buy an 03 Base Gold of Tim Duncan. Psa 8 preferably.

Full base set for sale at Goldin this week. Should be interesting.

Love this thread, so many beautiful cards.

My humble contribution...

Gotta cross this one eventually and eat the 5 or whatever it'll be.

Classic cards

I still want an 09/10 base LeBron to match my 03 MJ and Kobe.

09/10 was actually a better base set, better action shots and colour and checklist too.

Very nice

I thought for sure I posted in this thread. I love Exquisite cards, and I've had this MJ Patch Auto for quite a while:

I've completely forgotten if I've shared these.

Yao finished the set.

Steve is just a cool card.

Searching hard for an 03 Gold of Tim Duncan. Sigh

All quiet on the Exquisite front it seems?

There's been a few 03 Base MJs for sale recently which has been fun to follow.

BGS 8 sold for $8111

There's a PSA 7 on PWCC and another one about to be listed.

All look pretty clean

I should have bought more when Goldin was liquidating Taubenfeld. I walked away with some great pieces, but that train is over and the cards I want surface rarely at auction except when they are highlighted/featured which makes them difficult to acquire for a good price.

I'll bite, since I probably should have posted this when I got it almost 2 years ago. Write up/story about this card from my IG (ersancollector) as well

2005/06 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Rainbow RC #'D 1/1

Today comes a post that I wasn't sure was ever going to happen. Actually owning this card had eluded me for nearly 18 years. Short story time....

This card was pulled back in the Summer of 2006, shortly after Exquisite had released. It just so happened that the card was pulled by a customer at the local cardshop I had been frequenting for over a decade, @pricescollectibles. The owner of Price's, knowing that I collected Ersan, e-mailed me letting me know a customer pulled the card and had it listed on eBay. Unfortunately for me, shortly after it got listed the listing was pulled and the card was purchased by exquisite613, @jtnbafan. Back in the old eBay days you were able to directly message users, so I of course asked if I could purchase the card for more than Jim paid for it. Graciously he declined but let me know that if he ever decided to sell it then he would let me know.

Young me clung onto this hope for a few years, but slowly realized as each year passed, that I probably wouldn't be seeing this card again anytime soon. As the years went by, I continued collecting Ersan as hard as ever. Fast forward to a few years ago and news came out that exquisite613 began selling off his extensive Exquisite collection. This gave me and other fellow player collectors new hope that someday they may be able to acquire some of the cards that were in this collection for 15 years.

I would gradually see cards that I knew were in exquisite613's collection come up for sale and/or be posted on Instagram, however the Ersan still hadn't popped up again.

Fast forward to about a month and a half ago and I see on the PSA registry that the Ersan was just graded. A couple weeks later it shows up for auction on @goldinco along with some other 1/1's from the set. After a long 3 weeks waiting for the auction to end, I was able to secure the card for a lot more than I had thought, hoped, or wished for, but finally it is home!

That is a huge acquisition, Osh. Glad you were able to pick it up after nearly 20 years. Thanks for sharing.

We all definitely should have bought more.

And also never sold any Exquisite.

Heritage had a great run of selling and I didn't win anything. Sad times.
