bad news guys. i came home friday to a flooded house. kitchen hose dislodged and destroyed my basement. luckily, my cards were untouched (upstairs), but my shipping supplies were not so lucky (downstairs). also my house is in a state of disarray.

Regarding the draft, drafting has completed, I just haven't updated the OP. My desk is covered with cards right now (old base sets I had in the basement).

I will still try to get your cards out early next week. Keep in mind the Thanksgiving may throw a wrench in shipping times. I'm going to try to get everything out by Wednesday.

November is turning out to be a bad month for me. So much so, I might take a break from case breaking until the new year. There's just too much going on and I can't give you guys the kind of time I would like to give to these breaks.

Thanks. We were pretty fortunate (depending on how you look at it). All of the water missed most of my valuables (cards, plasma tv, golf clubs, etc...). I had stacks of base cards sitting in my basement on a shelf. Those got ruined, But I'm not overly worried about it. Insurance should cover some of that. But I have to say it's pretty interesting how the water missed most of the vital things. Like the water from the kitchen into the hallway. The next room over were my baseball calls. Most of them are off the ground, but I had some on the floor cause I ran out of room. Very fortunate the water didn't run into my den.

The worst part about this is, I just feel displaced. Things aren't where they are suppose to be. etc. I tried to salvage some of the cards because they were in boxes and the boxes protected the cards inside. So I dumped the cards on my computer desk and threw away the boxes. But now I have stacks and stack of cards all over the place. My card room was messy to begin with, now I can't get my bearings straight.

But I'm determined to get these cards out to you guys as soon as possible. I knew this draft took forever, I don't want to delay getting the cards to you. Everything is sorted, but the hardest part is the packing. Some of you have tons of cards, some only have singles. The goal is no later than Wednesday morning.

My sincerest apologies to everyone that is waiting on their cards. This has not worked out how I envisioned it. I take full responsibility for the delay of getting these cards out.

This was my first time doing a multi case group break and I made some time consuming mistakes when getting the cards ready for delivery. First of all, I should have bagged the cards when I was sorting them. Part of me was worried about getting the cases mixed up so I was being extra careful. Instead, I sorted the cards by team and when the draft was done, I took the draft list and imported the data into a spreadsheet. Then I went down by each participant and started to pull cards from the boxes...bagging them as I went. Halfway through, I realized it was taking me too long using this method, so I just started bagging them by case. This is what I should have done from the beginning because it was so much faster. Lots of wasted time doing it the other way.

Anyway, everything is bagged. I just need to pack and ship. As soon as I get home tonight, I will get cracking. I hope to get this completed tonight...I will be up really late if I have to.
