Teoscar missed all those games but is now only 6 back of the MLB RBI leader.

All right, looks like a chance to pick up a game on the whole division today.
Giants and D'Backs lost, Padres (and Rox, FWIW) getting pounded.

Bobby Miller back with the team, taking Sauer's spot.

Today's game is on FOX.
Tomorrow's is on ESPN.

Knack vs Senga today. I’d say the Mets have the upper hand here. Hopefully we can get to Senga early.

Tough loss. Mets made their hits count, Dodgers didn't. Also can't commit 4 errors and expect a W. Anyway onward to Cleveland.

When is there some real discussion about getting a better 3B? Muncy's error today really came back to bite the Dodgers...

In the past, his bat offset his so-so defense, but now he has no bat.

Positive note Pitching was good-allowed only 3 runs
Hitting??? One run that’s it???
Go Dodgers!

Another easy one.
Dustin May gets the win.
Homers for Shohei, Conforto, and Muncy.

Think Muncy has earned himself some runway. He’s been this for so long and figured it out that they are fine waiting. I think they are looking but it’d really have to make sense in a way someone like Arenado doesn’t.

Max is still getting used to his glasses, I think. He just needs 1 more homer to get 200, which puts him high on the Dodger career list. He's a little behind Kemp for 7th and could pass Matt and Steve Garvey this season and maybe even Cey and Campanella if he's back in 2026.

He fell off some last year with the injuries and to begin this year, but he was among the very top MLB leaders in total homers hit between 2018-2023 and has always drawn plenty of walks.

Arenado and Muncy are the same age, but Nolan's played 700 more games, so he's got a lot more wear and tear on him, plus Arenado's only played in 8 playoff games and batted poorly in all of them. Max has 13 homers and 54 walks in 62 playoff games and scored 38 runs with that.

It would be nice to have that stellar glove, but I'd stick with Max. His contract is almost up anyway. I also think he's earned the right to play it out. The team has a $10m option for 2026 if they want him back for that.

Well, gents. Tanner Scott again. His confidence has got to be obliterated at this point. I don’t think he can even be placed in moderate leverage pitching situations right now.

I wasnt able to watch so Im just going by ESPN's written play by play, but two infield singles, a walk, and a base hit just seems like bad luck. Then Vesia coughs up the homerun.

Agreed. Too bad they couldn't get the W for him.

I suppose some bad luck was involved, but he’s just not getting guys out. His average against is almost 100 points higher than it was last year and his ERA is up to 4.6.

It was bad luck just as every rocket let up by Kershaw only leading to one run over five was good luck. Just sort of chalk it up and move on. Vesia definitely looks a little cooked but again, the team will trend towards healthy and his role will get more selective.

Scott and Conforto are duking it out to see who the worst offseason signing by the Dodgers is...

I mean Blake Snell has been active for 7 days this year. It’s definitely Snell. Also, Conforto has been mostly fine of late.

This is a normal Snell season. He'll end up the best pitcher in the 2nd half.

Funny a cellar dweller Boston fan would bring this up, worry about your own team.
