Another loss. SMH. Can’t even do anything during last innings

I think you've all hit your head if an offense scores 10 runs and it's somewhat their fault, or any batter's fault. Wake up.

Did the Angels not have anyone other than Barria to pitch.

No Nevin is just a moron. Estevez, Moore, Quijada were there

Was a couple nights ago. Estevez got the save last night. I think Nevin wanted to keep Barria in there as he has the arm to pitch 3 + innings if necessary. It's just comical the ways the Angels have found ways to lose this year.

It's so very Angels baseball. We always got 2002 though.

This, x100.

It's not over yet, but this is going to be another long, frustrating road to .500 by #162.

Nothing to see. Another typical Angels loss.

Just waiting to see what return the team gets for Ohtani and Trout when they trade both this summer. Just let them go and go in rebuild mode.

I only loosely follow baseball, but obviously have some idea of what is happening with the Angels. I have to ask, assuming you are a fan, what is the buzz amongst the fan base? Is it desperation to keep these two guys, or are people starting to be resigned to the Angels way of losing and almost wanting to see these guys go to successful franchises?

Fans have accepted Trout and Ohtani leaving. We actually want them to leave and see them succeed elsewhere

It will be real interesting to see what the Angels do at the deadline with Ohtani. If you are .500 or just above, do you keep it together and hope for the best for the playoffs (add a piece)? Or, since Ohtani is very likely going to hit free agency, try to get at least something back? That would set them back for the playoff run obviously.

Trout is paid up for through 2027. He still has enormous trade value. That value is going to based on a sliding scale of more/better prospects vs salary dump I presume. How much of the Trout's salary would the Angels be willing to eat to get back the best prospect hall. Trading Trout still seems unlikely. He is the draw for the team.

Of course, trading Rendon would be ideal, but his value is pretty low with that salary attached. Angels fans should hope for a really good season and a hot streak at the deadline and see if a team gets suckered in for a trade.

Trout has about what 250m left? If he were a fa he'd prob get more. If they really want to blow it up they could trade him as well, but I cant see it unless he asks for it.

Angels lead MLB in blown saves with 7.

I said it on opening day and will say it again
Trade some prospect capital for some bullpen help to give this season a shot before punting.
I think both starting pitching and offense are playoff caliber
I predicted 12- 15 blown saves but I think we're trending closer to 25-40 now

Trout and Ohtani? From my cold dead hands! But realistically, Ohtani will go.

They already have 7 blown saves in 23 games. That's 30% of games lost due to the blown save

Jo Adell and anyone who isnt being counted on this year to contribute?
Not sure what future they are planning for if they can't be competitive enough to keep either of the 2 best players in the sport.... that'd be a very long re-build

Jo Adell, as bad as he is, is our best trade bait.

Which team would want him? Dude sucks. He can only perform well against AAA pitching.

Angels development is complete dog poo. Brandon Marsh turned into the best hitter in the league.
