I remember when I first moved to Seattle in 2001, it just happened to be the same year Ichiro started playing in the MLB and for the Mariners. Ichiro rookie cards got me back to collecting again. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much money then (because I just got out of the military and was a full time college student), so I wasn’t able to go to the All-Star Game in Seattle that year. I heard the stadium was giving out Fleer Ichiro cards. I had to wait until my local card shop got some in to finally get my hands on one.

I have always wanted one in a PSA slab (for the red on red), so when I saw this, I had to have it:

If the Pink is from 2018, I believe there are only 13 copies that exist even though it's numbered /25. Just FYI.

I wish Topps had been able to produce more Ichiro cards when he was a Yankee but they lost his rights at the time.
