i could use some 2018/19 Topps Chrome Sets, if anyone has any, please keep me in mind

WE! As Collectors can make it happen. As in the hobby, Prizm Only blew up because Topps Chrome in Basketball lost it's license with the NBA. I think True Soccer fans can make the Topps Chrome Champions League Soccer CANNON going forward starting with the 2017/18 Set as the hobby launch, dismissing Panini's silly stickers, and Prizm products, as we should support Topps Chrome, as they have Dominion and Heritage in Soccer cards over Prizm in Soccer collecting, if left to the collectors.

Well a case of Chrome just jumped to almost $1500 on BO. People are going after Mbappe Chrome hard now.

LCS had put out a fresh case of 2018 Prizm World Cup so I grabbed a box.

Hit a Mathew Leckie auto but since the cards stick together, a good portion of the auto came off on the other card.

But I did hit these two

Ohhhh....me likey!!!! Base Prizm Mbappe's are pushing $60-65. Almost a no brainer to be buying these at $65 per box with chances at Base, Red/Blue, Red Mosaic and of course hitting a silver.

It's already blowing up. A raw TC Mbappe refractor, not even a parallel sold for $250 today. Amazing how one guy can influence the value of these cards and now a case of Topps Chrome went up to $1800.

The Topps Chrome might just end up being the card as it's an iconic full shot in his PSG kit with a ball in the picture which collectors like.

I just don't get the spike in the 2018/19 Donruss though. It's a feeding frenzy on that set right now with breakers.

I think Topps Chrome is the winner in the long run. Topps Chrome baseball is on fire right now. Seems to be a lot less of it than Prizm out there. People are really overlooking this card at only $25 for a base....

Sancho/Vinicius/Havertz/Foden/De Ligt - plus all the lower #'d paralleled Stars.. 2019 is a great product. I've been busting it for over a year now, but now the secrets out.

It's the Mbappe because GaryVee mentioned him on his podcast. Those others are nice and do sell but the Mbappe is what is causing this craziness. I only meant I don't get the sudden frenzy as it's not even his rookie card.

Every break I see listed in the FB has 6 people trying to get France and PSG, a few try to get England and the rest just kinda filter in with MC, Netherlands, Germany and the rest. I'm a Real Madrid fan so typically only grab them in the breaks with an occasional England as I think Sancho and Junior will be really good.

The Rated Rookie group Indy listed I think will end up being the gems of the product though.

Sure but for this exact reason I would chase Bundesliga. There are less cards in the Bundesliga for value extraction, thus the Haaland will be the main way to get value out of the box and I would think go for more. Also, my guess is they make less Bundesliga than UEFA.

Off the top of my head, the super-high-end prospect pool has been tapped out cardswise for the Bundesliga, outside of Haaland of course.

We still have very relevant prospects to be added in 2020-21 CL though, the other kids from RM like Valverde, or the striker from Inter, Martinez.

The checklists for Bundesliga came in at 90, CL was 100, so the difficulty of pulling a good rookie doesn't change that much either.

Not to mention just adding value by being able to slide Messi, Ronaldo and Joao autos into the product I feel, puts it above the Bundesliga product.

For the 2018 Donruss cases- how often do you get the Optic cards? Is it better to buy jumbo packs or the blasters?

In each jumbo pack there are three optic - 2 will be regular vets and one will be either a rated rookie, holo, or green velocity. About half of the packs have a rated rookie, a quarter have a holo, and the other quarter have a green velocity. I broke 4 jumbo cases. VERY fun break.

Technically, all of those players appeared on other cards and stickers before this set. They're good looking cards, but when it comes time to sell, I'd rather be selling Vinicius' 2017 card in a Flamengo kit than that Donruss card.

This ^^^^ Its like this with a lot of other players. I just think people aren't aware of whats out there. Plus Panini America's products have a lot of hype built around the brand (ie: Prizm) opposed to a sticker

People are aware. You all just continue to not acknowledge how most American's collect sports cards.

We like Chrome, Prizm and Donruss Optic holos for products that are not high end. The Rated Rookies from Donruss have always been incredibly popular.

You can keep trying to push that agenda but I don't think it will take off here. That is why you see the Mpbappe Chrome, Prizm and Donruss Optic holos going up to crazy prices right now and the last one isn't even a rookie card.

Stickers we equate to junk wax.
