This ridiculous base card rage...Kobe's Topps is probably the easiest RC of his to grade. Quite a few of his RCs are relatively low pop, especially in comparison to the Topps.

Surprisingly the gem rate on the Topps for PSA 10 is only 21%... there sure is a lot of 9 grades, but there is also a lot of people who love Kobe. I bought a few of these 9's awhile ago but may part with them if prices continues to go the way they are.

Really tough grade, very condition sensitive and a card that has lived in shoeboxes for the last 25 years.

I thought it was higher than 21% but that's still one of his easiest grades. Only Collector's Choice, Finest Bronze, Skybox Series 2 and his first UD3 card are easier grades.

I'll die on the hill that it shouldn't be worth more than Rows 1 & 2 of Flair Showcase, Fleer, Hoops, Z-Force, Ultra and Metal Series 1. Those are all really tough grades and have very low pops in comparison.

I still can't wrap my head around Giannis Hoops RCs selling for more than Kobe.

Well I'm still sitting on quite a few PSA 10s of his other RC like Fleer Metal, Skybox Premium, Upper Deck, and UD3. Also got a BGS 9.5 Finest, Hope people start apperciating the non-topps RC soon

Pic is way to blurry and small for anyone to make a proper judgment call. I downloaded it and zoomed in, does look sharp through the blur but I can't see how the perforations look etc.

i went a little crazy on shiny kobe cards during the (kobe specific) downturn a few months back. flashing red lights saying 'look at me, buy me!' during the lebron and mj boom. looks like it was a good decision. i will post more soon. here is one of my favorites...

most of Kobe’s crucial mint/gem mint cards are out of reach right now. Grabbed a couple of raws that looks mint and could Gem depending on the grader.
