That's the reason that I just got the base cards. Figured the odds of redeeming them weren't in my favor (but still hoping I get to), so just wanted the basic card.

Is it a collectible or just a game piece to you? They are still rare, only 3 or 4 of each player, have a /10 chrome set printed on back Last edited by Americards; 05-09-2019 at 10:53 AM. |

I bought 10 packs 2 different times and they arrived in separate packages and I ended up with perfect team distribution on both orders. That is extremely unlikely in a random distribution.

Of my 50 packs I opened so far, (150 cards), here is a quick recap:
* I hit at least one of all 90 players in the checklist. * 90 - 20-card "Base" sets * 17 - 20-card sets /199 * 12 - 20-card sets /99 * 6 - 20-card sets /49 * 3 - 20-card sets /25 * 1 - 20-card set /10 * 2 - 20-card sets /5 * 11 Autographs /50 * 4 Autographs /25 * 3 Autographs /10 * 1 Autographs /5 I'll break out what I got per team when I get back from pre-school graduation tonight.

Topps must have something against me. I bought the 50 pack bundle and hit 9 autos with one /10 and my best team set was /25. No /10 or /5 team sets. I did get one card of every player so I should be thankful for that.

5 packs, all junk. So glad I didn't go in on any more of these.
/199 - Gennett, Blackmon, Alonso, Myers /99 - Bell, Bregman /49 - Kershaw, Baez Base: Soto, Trout, Anderson, Cabrera, Peralta, Albies, Davis Not to mention the quality of these cards are horrible, silver foil dots all over the cards and a couple have scratches where the foil area is. Nonsense!

My 7 pack break was base set heavy. I figured I’d get a few #d base sets since a lot of breaks were yielding multiple per pack. I did hit 3 mystery autos. Below is my break.
Base sets Acuna Braves Rizzo Cubs Gennett Reds Blackmon Rockies Castellanos Tigers Cervelli Pirates Myers Padres Posey Giants Andrus Rangers Pillar Blue Jays Set /99 Benintendi Red Sox Mystery Autos Degrom Mets /50 Trout Angels /25 Stanton Yankees /10 Last edited by sandlotsportcards; 05-15-2019 at 06:55 AM. |

Here's my 5 packs. I am trading most below for equal level Dodger cards. Would prefer to trade at least 3 cards at a time, to save us both on postage. ![]() ![]() ![]() Mystery Autographs /50 Mariners - Yusei Kikuchi RC Tigers - Miguel Cabrera Team Sets /49 Cleveland- Francisco Lindor Royals - Whit Merrifield /99 Set Orioles - Mark Trumbo /199 Set Red Sox - Mookie Betts Atlanta - Ronald Acuna Jr. Nationals - Juan Soto Base Set Mets - Pete Alonso RC (NOT FOR TRADE) Padres - Fernando Tatis, Jr. RC (NOT FOR TRADE) Athletics - Khris Davis Brewers - Ryan Braun D'Backs - David Peralta Marlins - Starlin Castro Pirates - Francisco Cervelli Happy to get 15 different teams, but no Dodgers, Yanks, Twins, Astros, Cubs, Cards, or Rays (and a couple more reasonably argued for, besides!), so I could already be "drawing dead" in terms of holding a card that can actually be redeemed. On the other hand, the Dodgers didn't have good Aprils in either of the last two seasons, and they at least got there, so maybe the WS winner is still at the bottom of most people's decks right now. Cool stuff. The cards remind me of Upper Deck inserts from 92 through around 94 before they started getting super fancy. UD also had several "predictor" chase cards that awarded prizes, along with the Stadium Club "Super Teams", of course, They were all pack issued and while the reward cards were sharp, they were produced in such large quantities, the various winner cards aren't worth much today. These Futures cards, even the base, are truly limited, and with the odds of finding an eventual winner basically 1 in every 30 cards, odds you can influence favorably if you guess right on who wins the series by just picking up cards from that team, or couple of teams, so I feel like the value is there. Good luck, flippers and hod-lers alike!

Has anyone figured out how rare these truly are or are not, in terms of parallels?
For instance, I have an Ohtani /5 team set card. Which of the following four examples does this mean: - Ohtani is the only Angels card with the /5 parallel version. - There might be 2 Ohtani cards with /5 parallel versions, 2 Trouts, and 1 Pujols, for instance. - Each Angels card has 5 of these, and Topps is hoping not more than 5 get redeemed. - Each Angels card has 5 of these, and there are actually 3 different 20-card team sets numbered /5. |

Somebody might want to start a 1/1, /5, and /10 tracker.
IF this was done correctly there should only be 5 total of the /5 cards NOT /5 for each player If the prize is a team set numbered to 5 there cant be 5 Trout cards /5 and 5 Ohtani /5 and 5 Pujols /5 because that would be 15 team sets numbered to /5. Who is on the front of the card doesnt really matter since they all result in a prize from the same prize pool....again IF they did this correctly. If they didnt then there is a 1/1 team set winner for each player on the front and thats 3 1/1 prizes 15 /5 prizes and 30 /10 prizes..... I believe the original Math supports them doing this correctly...we will have to see if they were actually printed that way Last edited by Cam Brady; 05-10-2019 at 05:55 AM. |

Is that Mike Stanton the old pitcher for the Yankees, cause as of last year Giancarlo Stanton, the outfielder and DH, did not have an auto contract with Topps. I know this because my 1/1 Platinum card could not be sent in for an auto. Something must have changed or Topps bought some autos of him from Fanatics maybe, but I can't wait to see if that auto ever gets fulfilled. May never find out though... Just very interesting to me.
