So the one box per membership assuming PR's don't change much would limit the number of memberships to under 20K. Unless topps wanted to create demand shortages. If 20K people had to fight over 15K boxes of flashbacks, that would make your one box worth a little something on the secondary market, since a lot of those boxes would be going to collectors who would be ripping them.

Also, this then looks like the 2022 membership should be getting quite a few more offerings. (22 GPK, 22 TCS, 22 BCS, 22 Draft Sap, 22 snapshots, 22 brooklyn)

I don't understand offering Bundy Sapphire. A better product would be MLS Sapphire since it is US based, but what do I know.

Has anyone ever struggled to get MLS Sapphire boxes? I would think UEFA Sapphire would be the best option.

Perhaps Topps is allotting an even higher pct of their UEFA cases to Europe as that stuff sold out quickly there and sat for days on the US site??

Maybe they'll go back to the vending box format with no packs and more cards. I highly doubt they'll do that but I agree anything more than $50 and it'll be a bloodbath for rippers.

The only saving grace would be the parallels of Wander, Witt, Julio, and Tork.

But still 660 card checklist and no autos is brutal.

I don’t think the question is what is the “best” option, that’s obviously uefa. they don’t allocate enough boxes to the US to make it a realistic option.

To each their own. I was glad to buy five to get free shipping to avoid hunting at Walmart. I don't actually avoid Walmart but I hate making trips there for cards as my store's section is always depleted still.

I actually somewhat dread making walmart trips anymore, although it IS possible to have positive interactions there from time to time

I have seen both funny and terrible things occur (mostly in the parking lot), which still stand out in my mind as some of the more atrocious shopping experiences i've had

If you dreaded going there before you'll want to avoid it like the plague now. A lot of new shoppers stressed out they have to resort to Walmart and seem like they will get into it with anyone and everyone. I'm not even talking about cards but just fighting over the checkout lanes.

What they needed to do was let members buy 3 or 5 boxes of product early release and than only allow the public to get 1. That is what would gauge more people into buying memberships. Maybe they do that in 2023, but if not really is no huge upside paying 150-200 for a membership.
