In theory, the number of packs should be equal to the number of 586 factory sets made? If they somehow printed a bunch of extra packs and sent to distributors, that would greatly devalue the cards which defeats the whole point of trying to please MC members by printing these in the first place.

well, topps has moved further into the animal kingdom with its login verification process. pandas are incredibly cute but having to tell them apart from raccoons and other animals with black & white fur is just cruel...

I'm having a difficult time remembering but i think they were the same price last year... will buy and rip 1 for funsies, not expecting anything massive

Hit a Brady Singer Auto last year and some cool numbered parallels that eventually got me to the break even point, so without hitting anything huge you can make up the box price

In general the strategy is to rip high numbered cards and sell the lower #'d parallel rips

Based on this, with limited early accesses and just the 2 sets, I feel like this cost less than $300 and will probably open the door for thousands more memberships.

vindication! for those of you who have taken note of my drubbing of posters who have spread rumors about the demise of MC, otherwise known as the " heard from the brother of the mother of a friend at topps" crowd, this is why i went out of my way to shut them up. and hooray for MC 2023!
