Adding a bad pitcher to a bad rotation doesn't fix anything. I'm happy we didnt't really give up anything, but still don't see this as an improvement.

Tough crowd.

Not exactly sure what you were hoping for but they have no pieces to use in a trade.

So to get a Lefty starter who has had a number of quality starts this year (along with some ugly ones) for next to nothing is a great result. He is better than the Orioles current 4 and 5 starters so, yes is is an improvement.

Cant find anything on that, but i would love that. Would add another big bat that can be thrown in during players slumping to give them a day of rest, and can play a bunch of positions. It is almost like a Flaherty that can actually hit.

Just saw it. Traded an A ball catcher that cant hit, doesnt walk, and has no power. Im good with it.

Steve Pearce is back!!

Also Miley has pitched to a 3.80 ERA over his last 8 starts (48 IP), so it not like he's been terrible recently. He generates a decent amount of groundball too. In all honesty, he only needs to eat innings and have an ERA under 5.50 to be an upgrade in the 4 or 5 spot. And he keeps Ubaldo from hopefully ever making a start for the O's again.

Hadn't realized that Pearce is having an even better year than his breakout season in 2014. Hitting .309 and already has 10 HRs and 30 RBIS.

Do you guys think Pearce could take over in RF while Trumbo moves to all-time DH?

Obviously Pedro would be throws man out.

Nah, I doubt they stop playing Pedro. He's been hot over the last month. He will probably platoon with Kim in LF some and play RF some when Trumbo is DH and Alvarez sits. He can spot guys in the IF too.

I think Reimold could be the odd man out, roster wise.

Rangers added Beltran, Lucroy, and Jeffress before the series tomorrow

He could play first for a bit until crush gets out of his awful slump. He is just dreadful the last few weeks.
