July 4th weekend at Shea is going be loooooong.
They had the best record against teams above .500’this is a 2 game blip. Like I said if it goes on for a couple of weeks I would worry a 3 to 5 game stretch in a 162 game season is not a big deal. Also those same Angels you are downplaying swept the Dodgers recently.

Nope. I just think the last two days mean we should give up hope of a World Series victory this year if the Dodgers represent the NL again this year. Yesterday was an embarrassment.

Larsen's perfect game would still be well known and historic because he's the only pitcher ever to pull it off in the World Series where, back then more than now, it was the best two teams playing.

They don't need bullpen help. They need to get another starter who can go 6 or 7 so the bullpen doesn't have to come in everyday for long periods of time. Yarborough and Warren just won't cut it all season long.

Yea I hate to admit it but currently situated the Yankees better hope some other team upsets the Dodgers before the World Series because these last 2 games are proving they don’t match up.

I somewhat agree but it wouldn’t be as big of a thing as the linear notes would read Larsen pitches perfect game as the Yankees lose their 2nd World Series in a row.

The only bright part of the night but I am more in the corner of team success than rooting for one player.

I was at a concert and every time I checked my phone the Dodgers had added more runs. I kept showing my wife the score as I checked and she said why are you even checking at this point.

Maybe when or if Gil comes back he will give them better starts because he couldn’t do worse than last nights debacle. I thought Warren was coming along but last night was a major setback. I also think last nights drubbing was the after effects of having their best and most reliable pitcher of this year blow a 5-2 lead going into the 6th.

Unfortunately tonight will most likely be another loss with the pitching matchup of Yarbrough vs. Yamamoto. Hate that it’s the Sunday night game I would rather have it on an obscure channel at 10 in the morning so less people see the Yankees weaknesses exposed.

Sorry Yanks fans but hopefully Yamamoto goes 7 IP with 9-10 K's and 1 run. I need him to put up a strong outing for my fantasy team to seal the win.

Happy they avoided the sweep. What sucks is it still doesn’t matter how big a lead the Yankees have against the Dodgers I still fear a comeback. Yarbrough and Williams and Hill pitched great. Loaisiga sucked giving up 2 home runs to make it too interesting.

I am glad I was wrong and that Yarbrough gave them 6 great innings and Yamamoto wasn’t too sharp tonight.

Sorry, not sorry, about the hit your fantasy team took.

Yeah who would have thought Yarbrough would have pitched better than Fried in this series. Crazy!

At the risk of George Lucas suing me for copyright infringement, I'm going with the title "The Empire Strikes Back" for this game.

Yarbrough shines as Yankees avoid sweep with 7-3 win over Dodgers. Judge and Ohtani go hitless

Looks like Jazz could be back in the lineup on Tuesday. The question will be does he go back to 2nd and DJ to 3rd or do they leave DJ at 2nd and move Jazz to 3rd like last year.
