US voters face zero compulsion to vote for one of two parties. They possess 100% freedom to vote for any number of candidates.

You can either argue that voters are not actually free to vote for other candidates (in which case suddenly the conversation becomes about these parties constraining our most basic freedom) or that voters are freely voting for sexual predators and then all subsequent discussions of morality become moot.

I thought it was understood already that the radical left just wants to ruin the country? They don't even hide it. They burn cities to the ground, say how horrible this country is, want to get rid of police/law & order. How aren't they the ones trying to ruin the country?

Meanwhile, the whole left party says Trump is ruining it by forcing immigrants to come here legally, getting rid of terrorists overseas, building up the economy, standing up for law & order, getting unemployment down, and putting America first in trade deals.

I'll never understand why it's so bad to stand up for your country, but at least we still have the freedom to vote for who we want. I firmly believe Trump will be the best president of my lifetime, even if I can't put a sign out because the left will light my house on fire lol

Am I allowed to be of the opinion that the political right is lacking in merit in 2020?

I am open to discussing your stance on the Republican party, or more broadly of conservativism but thus far I don't see the merit in the ideology.

Don't misconstrue this as a defense of the Democratic party.

I'm playing neither side by the way. I think there's a largely ignored mental health epidemic in America.

I'll start with: not saying stupid sh!t every single day, not questioning medical experts, not pushing conspiracy theories, not pushing fake cures during a very real pandemic, not getting his news and information from right-wing talking heads, not having Jared Kushner anywhere near him, not sucking up to dictators, not denying science, not undermining the EPA, not undermining the Post Office, not undermining the election, not bending the country over the barrel in the interests of big business, not having Ivanka as a decision-maker, not having any white supremacists on his staff (looking at Miller).

That's not everything, but it's a start.
