I don't know if you call it changing your mind, but I have become more aware that media bias isn't just coming from FOX. I have also been surprised by how many of those that disagree with you on politics are quick to dismiss or insult. That's been discouraging.

For me personally, I look forward to a post-Trump presidency, whether that be now or in 4 years, and whether that be with a Republican or Democrat. I do think he is in this more for himself and his brand and that he wants to win just so he can keep calling himself a winner, country be damned. I also think he wants to win to continue claiming immunity so that he doesn't have to face the music with the litigation happening in NY.

I know a lot of folks here won't agree with this perspective, but most here I suspect are white and comfortable enough with their income that sports cards are even a consideration. So I factor that in when I see the responses from both sides of the aisle. There is understandably a disconnect from the experience of those who are less fortunate and have more at risk with the status quo.

This thread is stuck in the mud and continues to ignore the subtleties of the pain caused and reckless behavior towards people of color and more so whomever or whatever makes white society uncomfortable. Its irrelevant what the specifics are around a handful of incidents, this has become a movement about personal pain: pain I've felt, my family has felt, my neighbors have felt. The mob wants heads on stakes but politics needs to be a room of adults, listen to the pain, acknowledge the pain but ultimately rule on fairness for all parties.

We're at a moment in this country where this unfairness is blight and visible, it's up to us to get everyone a seat at the table. From the corporate table to the government table. This country was founded on the idea of representation and has continued to move the needle forward for 250 years, my hope is to be a generation to keep the needle moving and not the one to declare victory to a never ending battle.
