Mahomes is a great qb in his own way but he’ll never be Brady. Or Peyton for that matter. Elway, Rodgers, farve, he’s in that pantheon imo. Idc about the rings. Montana, Brady, Peyton are a higher level.

Oh Absolutely. Manning and Brady leadership is just unparalleled. I cant think of this generation of QB who can or will call out their own receivers for running wrong route or catching with one hand, etc. Manning and Brady gave me Jordsn vibes where he will do whatever it takes to win, even punching his own teammate in the process |

yeah, youre not wrong. Just see the metrics these past 2 seasons and tell me he's as good as he once was. He's 11th in QBR (One of the beloved stats by people here) below Brock Purdy and barely above Derek Carr where Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow constantly on the top 3 from the beginning of the season. 9th in Total Passing, 6th in INTERCEPTIONS, 15th on Passing TD %, T-10 for total Touchdown below Jordan Love and Bo Nix. These numbers dont lie and do paint a picture. Chiefs are also very lucky (or very good, I'd give it to them) on having one of the best kicker in Butker who made 44 out of 46 FGA with a whooping 95.7%. that's XPM numbers, not FG numbers but Butker achieved it last season. Will we ever see vintage Patty ever again? ~30 games is enough sample size for me to say no but jury still out

It would be a miracle of Carson could pull off a win. He has looked horrible in recent years. Rest well Patty.

Always felt like v Houston or @ Pittsburgh was going to be a schedule loss anyway. It's smart to let Mahomes rest against Houston and have 10 days to rest and prep for Pittsburgh. And then have another 10 days to get ready for Denver.
Houston is beatable so maybe Wentz can have a 2016 flashback game. Reid's the best offensive coach he's played for so maybe he'll play great. |

Maybe Delta is Wentz and Wentz is Delta, would explain a lot!

Looks like Mahomes is going to be a limited participant in practice today to see how it goes.
Also says it's responding better than the ankle injury vs Jacksonville the week before he beat the Bengals in the AFC Championship game.

Damn. Wish I took them at +2 when they first listed the line.
Have a feeling Vegas is going to get hit hard on this. I thought for sure they knew he would not play.

He will play. He's a full participant on practice. Texans is the only team who have two guys with double digit sacks and one of the best pass rusher in the league. I'd love to see how he fares against them. Also, I dont want the narrative to be Bills got handed the first seed, I want to see Mahomes plays and still lose anyways
