True story, the first time I visited San Francisco, 20+ years ago, we got out there early the first morning so as to see as much as we could. (We were also there to see Monterey and Salinas, being devoted Steinbeck readers.)

Literally the very first person we see as we drive in into the city proper is a strapping man who appears to be opening his business for the day. Closer inspection and he is wearing cowboy style leather chaps over his legs. He turns around and, yep, no britches, cheeks to the wind.

Later that day we saw two birds fight over a discarded clam chowder bread bowl at the famous Fisherman's Wharf.

Some time after, we took a long Northeastern trip (including stops in Halifax and Prince Edward Island), and literally the first people we saw when we stopped in Maine were two men on a dock, fishermen, most likely, and they sounded exactly like two characters in a Stephen King story. They said "ayuh", and everything!

The universe does not hide its secrets. It shows them to those who will look.
You all know this Trump is no good for us, you know it.
