Florida is 100% my favorite and should be favored unless they add on the Mcdavid tax the same way they over-value the Bills despite Allen showing yearly he'll let you down in the playoffs.

Better goalie, and just deeper team. You're just as likely to see Evan Rodrigues on the point sheet as Tkachuk which makes them very dangerous. Everyone knows where you have to center your attack against the Oilers.

Many of the same things were said about Dallas vs Edmonton - deeper, better goalie, more complete team. But at least for.me what's stood out is just how solid the EDM defense has played. Dallas just can't seem to get their dump and chase game going and lack a McKinnon-lile puck carrier. But I'd also say that Dallas hasn't lost yet and Stuart Skinner is still in goal so who knows how the series finishes although Dallas are lucky to still be alive at this point

I agree but personally I think Oettinger is overrated. I'll take Bobo over him everyday, Florida also won 2-0 in their season series with Dallas, I'm not taking away from Dallas I have said I think whoever wins FLA/NY beats either but I dunno.

As mentioned Florida is bad for the hobby, I honestly feel since they all had YG's in recent years there are alot of people who have Robertson, Johnston, Oettinger rookies/Young Guns which is influencing opinions.

I do think EDM ends it tonight though, both series won 4-2. See a similar low score to, maybe 2-1, 3-2, no OT cause Dallas will inevitably pull goalie too early and let in an empty netter.

Florida won both games in the regular season (and both were after the coaching changes in Edmonton). I still think Dallas will win it all if they can somehow come back, but logic points to Florida hoisting the cup.

we saw that team try to fight their way through a gauntlet too... sucks to come up short

Great matchup. Hoping for McDavid-seems like a class guy and Edmonton certaintly would enjoy the Cup more than Florida.

Very curious how much Florida keeps up their style of play in the finals given they're the most penalized team and Edmonton's PP is at like 40%. I think Florida will need to adjust a bit but that's also what makes them so good so curious how the refs call it.
