Yeah, these were a fun rip at release price. At 4-500 it’s a losing prospect to rip.

I have yet to see even the redemption card (assuming redemption...) for the dual-auto Shaq/Barkley that was in the checklist.

I don't think I've seen the Curry/Durant dual auto as well. Truth be told there are probably a bunch of cards I haven't seen yet. I haven't seen the KG insert /10 at all either so maybe there is still a bunch left unopened.

I still assume that some of those duals have a print run of less than 5 anyway though.

Ripped a box of this stuff. Pretty cool overall... 1 #'d card (khris Middleton cracked ice... Lmao) in a box was kinda lame. Pulled this though.

Just got this back from a private signing send-in and wanted to share. Jersey # match /75 Shaq Auto on one of the coolest card out of Panini this year.

I had asked to have Shaq sign on the top left side of the card (where there's open space) but he didn't get the message apparently and just wrote on himself. Can't do much about that! I'm still happy with it.

That’s awesome anyway.

I bought 10 boxes on release, 4 more shortly after and then 4 again a little bit later for much more. Busted 2 boxes for myself and the rest in my local break group.
Still holding 2 boxes and kicking myself for not buying more.
Fantastic product and a fun rip before the price went throught the roof.

I've got 6 boxes. Regret not picking up another 4 when I had the chance.

Can't open any now at the current price

Months ago, Spaceman and I picked up a case locally for $2600 (evenly split up the boxes => 7 for $1300 each). We ripped 1 box together and had a fun time though his box destroyed mine haha.

Since then, I've slowly offloaded my sealed boxes: 1 box at $350 locally, 3 boxes at $450 per locally and 2 boxes at $425.

I really like the cards from this product, they make for great PC cards because of the beautiful photography and high-quality card stock. And though I originally intended to hold my 2 remaining boxes for the long-term, I ultimately decided to offload them because: (1) I could use the funds for other things, and (2) current box price seemed a little too inflated compared to the prices of singles. Long-term, I'm still high on the product but I foresee it mostly being flat in the $500s ($600+ is a lot for what the box has to offer).

I have a hobby case of 2021-22 Recon BKB and debated between selling that and the Photogenic BKB boxes but decided on the latter because single prices for the former were stronger when adjusting for current box price.

If Photogenic BKB wax prices come down in 2023, I might consider picking up one box to put back into my sealed PC. For now, I'm good though. But this was definitely a nice gift from Panini. Dutch Auction sell-out was in the low $100s, no?

I remember it was down around $116 when it sold out.

I got 2 boxes at that price and still wish I would've bought more. My gut was telling me to buy more, but I stayed put and only got 2.

I ripped both and did pretty well. Kuminga and Giddey autos, a few of the top rookies (Green & Barnes), and Dirk /75.

I couldn't agree more, these are really well produced cards when you combine the thick card stock along with the quality action photos chosen. This is the type of care and effort you wish Panini would put into all sets, especially "flagship" stuff like Prizm and Optic.

liked this product a lot (although my critique is that the cards are VERY condition sensitive) - but anything north of $500 a box and you are easily getting killed from an ROI perspective.

For sure!

I ended up buying Giddey Gold Auto and Day'ron Sharpe Gold Auto/RC for the price of a box, so have absolutely no desire to open any of these.

I would love a Dual or Shoe Game, but seriously i've seen none of them

I simply forgot about the drop If I hadn't, I would've secured some boxes around the floor price.

Congrats on having secured 2 at the floor price though! And your rip was good!

The only cons about the product are that the autos are stickers and the main SP chase card (shoe game) is poo. But at $116 per, can't complain.

Agreed. From a value perspective, I think I took a loss (or break-even if piecing out all the cards but that'd be a massive pain) at ~$185.

With that said, I never expect to recoup full value from any rips, especially Panini.

Even though the value might not be there for your average rip (at $500+), sealed Photogenic wax will still sell for that amount because of sealed wax collectors and group breakers.

These boxes are going for $500+ now. Kicking myself for not grabbing a bunch when the set dropped.

Nice, a small decline over the last few months.

I might re-buy one for the sealed PC because I do like the set and quality of the cards.
