Ideally you should get a numbered hit in 1/13 boxes.

Should get my order of 20 in tomorrow. A lot of people are saying these should be weighable but I haven't seen anyone confirm that yet. Ideally an extra card should be 4-5 grams extra weight to a box so a lot of content creators are telling people not to buy off Ebay and other sites. Not sure if that is the reason but box prices are plummeting pretty fast.

Possibly that and the NFT money grab by the MetaZoo team is really causing a ripple effect in the hobby. They pump the next thing and it seems to really crash the prices of the past products. The NFT seems to have bombed pretty badly too. They only sold just over 2000 of the 5000 coins. A lot of people are trying to spin it but that doesn't seem good to me at all as it was hyped as these will sell out like crazy.

I opened some and every so often there was a foam filler so not sure how you could weigh them but who knows. It seems like that would throw weighing packs off.

I finally opened my order of 20 boxes and Topps sent me...21! So odd, because the 20 were stacked neatly in 2 rows that fit perfectly in the box. And then a random extra box sitting on top of all the others. #ThanksTopps (forreal!)

Four will be paired with my girlfriend's 1st Edition CN boxes, and I opened the fifth. Not a bad parallel to get:



My foil was Loveland Frogman, and I got a Chapter 1 cover card that will go with her paired comic! All in all-very happy!

That is a very cool looking card! No idea what's in mine. I'm just going to keep them sealed.

I didn't like MetaZoo at all initially. Didn't really dig the artwork in CN. But, it has really grown on me with Nightfall and now looks like this Topps release has some cool looking cards in it. Big mistake by me in not buying CN just because I didn't like the artwork. Will be interesting to see if this TCG has staying power. I plan to buy and hold some sealed of each release moving forward.

I ripped 2 boxes and enjoyed it (nothing major like yours, did hit a base Mothman though).

I'll stash 3-4 boxes for my PC and sell the remaining ones.

I do not play the game, but I got five Booster boxes of Nightfall and opened them all. I put together a set because I collect. I wasn't big on MetaZoo at first, but will continue to put together sets in the future. I like the artwork and characters, so no flipping, just collecting.

That news has been out a few weeks now. I did just hear a rumor that in future sets there will be serialized cards and I absolutely LOVE that! Magic is also moving in this direction.

That's kind of cool. I like set building myself, but I'm pretty bad at completing most that I start.

I'm concerned that as a trading card game, there is virtually no talk of gameplay or anything. To me, without a massive amount of IP, the game needs to be really strong in order to survive. I've joined the discord but there isn't even much talk on there. Compared to something like Magic or Pokemon where thousands of people are cracking the meta and fine tuning decks, etc. This doesn't seem to be happening here.

Tied in with that, the popularity of the cards doesn't seem to be correlated to the playability of the cards. That's not necessarily a problem but I would bet if actually playing the game does get popular the prices for singles will look very different than they do now.

Topps boxes are taking a nose-dive as word is out on how to weigh them. They are barely selling for $80 a box now with free shipping. A lot of people are saying they aren't even worth it at MSRP because you know you won't get a hit and only the foil.

What a mess.

I have 3 boxes of 10 packs each. I'm keeping them in the sealed boxes I got them in from Topps. I bought 2 other 10 packs that I sold. 1 10 pack I sent in the sealed box from Topps. The other box I opened because I sold the boxes individually. I kept 1 that was a cancelation and opened it just to see what they were like. Did get a mothman, but not sure what others are good, if any
