I will say that the ACA overall seems to have been a success depending on what you are looking at. I'm sure people have their feelings about it, but the individual mandate helped drive the amount of uninsured down by about 50% from where it was at the outset of the ACA. Is it perfect? No. Have some people seen costs go up? Yes. Have some seen their coverage change for the worse? Yes. The plan was far from perfect and a lot remains to be done in my mind. This was a good start though and it is something I would like to see pushed further. I just don't believe that people should be forced to choose between going broke and getting healthcare. We as a society should be beyond that. Forgive student loan debt? No. Free college for all? No. Tax the wealthy into oblivion? No. I still would not mind paying more in taxes if it meant others could get the care they need. How much more? I don't know. This is a trading card message board and I'm not sure I'm up for a giant debate on the merits of single payer healthcare and whether or not it would be a bane or boon to society. |

Speaking of laughable, could you repost this list of Trump's accomplishments?

- - - Regarding some of Obama's accomplishments... First and foremost was the economy. We seem to forget that the 2008 election was hardly an election any reasonable candidate wanted to win. Obama ushered the country out of a historic recession. Healthcare. Sure, it was half-baked and had flaws throughout, but it was a bold and comprehensive structure that helped millions have access to healthcare. Dodd-Frank and the reforms for Wall Street. Extending the Bush Tax Cuts. Auto industry reform and fuel efficiency standards. Cutting deficit spending after getting the recession under control. - - - Hammer away as needed. Also, not finding your list of Trump's accomplishments.

It’s funny Bernie thinks that if you raise the tax rate to 95%, revenue will just go up. Problem is that he’s never heard of the Laffer Curver

43 was right behind 44 as being the worst president ever.

I'm sure Cheney will be super mad. I have mixed feelings on this as we should have probably just went in with quick surgical strikes and taken out Taliban leadership and Bin Ladin and left the rest up to the Afghan people instead of trying to Nation build in the first place. I'm sure if the Taliban begin to strike US troops again from Afghanistan, GWOT will allow any US President to bomb their terror camps. |

Iraq was just "taking care of what my Daddy couldn't accomplish." Ironically taking out Saddam Husein's regime has caused more chaos in the Middle East than would have happened if he was still in power but neutralized through UN sanctions and the No Fly Zone. With Saddam in power, there never would have been Taliban in Iraq, as much cultural bloodshed, ISIS, or Iran infiltrating the current Government. |

To those asking about President Obama’s long list of accomplishments, please see the 2016 thread.
The only thing I see as Trump’s accomplishment was after he started fighting with Iran, he backed down after they retaliated. He showed a sliver of leadership to see the error of his decision.

![]() Backing down would have been immediately signing another bad treaty with them that they would break and have the President do nothing about. Backing down to them would have been releasing them from the crippling sanctions their country faces. Backing down to them would have been to stop providing military aid and support to fight their proxies in Syria and Yemen. Backing down to them would have been pulling 5th Fleet out of the Persian Gulf; a dream of Iran's. Backing down to them would have entailed pulling all troops out of Iraq and abandoning the Government there 100% so Iran and it's proxies could take over like they have been trying to do for years. |

Stop being so triggered.
All I said was to look at the 2016 thread.
