I bought a ton of low to moderate Julio this off season, and I keep on buying. I feel like now is a great buying opportunity if you want to collect him medium to long term (not so great for investors or flippers right now). I doubt he is a flash in the pan. The Mariners gave him a huge extension. If they had worries about him long term they would not have done that.

The question is how long can he stay "hobby good" playing like this? That I am not sure of. But I am guessing all the people that sold Ohtani in 2019 because he was a bust probably regret that decision. And since I am not looking to sell its not a big deal to me. Besides what other young player in the game has more potential to be "hobby good." I mean I am sure the investors are dumping and moving on to Elly De La Cruz, but as a collector I am not sure there is anyone else his age with higher potential to be "hobby good."
