Absolute poetic justice if Phoenix makes the finals in the midst of k13's brilliant double down nightingale system.

Free chapter 7 for all your covid bass transgressions.

Somebody around here told me that the Nuggets didn't need Jamal Murray's offense to get to the Finals.

Please raise your hand if you were that person.

Last couple of times down Denver has seemed like they were fouled but nothing called. I know it's the playoffs, but you can't allow things to just be ignored...
And this is coming from someone rooting for the Suns.

Nuggets clearly look outclassed by the other teams remaining in the west. Miss Murray very badly.

If MPJ is flat they have nothing outside Joker. Aaron Gordon is a strawman

Bet the Suns to win NBA title on 12/6

Bet the Suns to win the West on 12/30

Sadly it was only pizza money...

CP3 not letting up - same as last time, doing this at the start of the 4th while Jokic sitting... could set a clock to Malone's Jokic rotation. Maybe he could adjust it a bit?

Maybe the lakers played the suns better then we thought. Suns looking tough against the mvp joker nuggets.

A hypothetical Suns vs. Jazz series is pretty intriguing on paper.

Very similar roster builds with alpha sg's, traditional centers, and a ton of peripheral shooters.

If CP3 can keep this gear without any potential injury setbacks, they may raise some eyebrows. Perhaps I've been sleeping.

Only 18 by booker and they thump the nuggets by 25? You wanted to make a bet that happens pre game and I would have put everything on the line.

They only lost two games when their best player was playing without his dominant arm. Since he’s looked healthy, they’ve kicked the crap out of everyone.

Jokic at the end of the 3rd: 24-13-6. The rest of the Nuggets starters combined: 20-10-4
sigh, would've been a great series if Nuggs were healthy

If ad is averaged 30/6/5 and and Lebron averaged 9/4/8 in the first round I couldn’t say Lebron is their best player so i can’t do that for cp3. Booker is leading this team in play, cp3 is leading in different ways. Booker has clearly played better this postseason.

But look... I'm still sticking with the call that Philly will win this series as long as Embiid plays. IMO, they are the better team.

Before the series began I called Philly in 6. So while I think they are a step above Atlanta, I've recognized that Atlanta will get theirs and put up a fight.

If I'm wrong and Atlanta wins, I'll be the first to come back here and admit it. Feel free to call me out if the 6ers lose this series and then I disappear from the board for a week. I'm just giving my honest opinion of the series.

There's a handful of very loyal Hawks fans here. But I've never seen such a swing throughout one season of so much hype to begin the season, then people either jumping off the bandwagon or just disappearing from the boards when things weren't panning out that way, then the same folks popping back up when things suddenly start going well again. Props to BrotherTona, Daeve, and a few others who have been in the corner of this team the entire season. And props to Atlanta for making it this far for such a young team. For the rest of the folks, well, one of us is going to get the last laugh here in about a week. Maybe it'll be me, maybe not.
it has been kind of an odd little wave, but sometimes people do like the upstart underdog teams.

this post seems pretty correct - I do think with Hunter playing that a 7-game series would be possible. Without him this is probably over in 6, unless Nate alters the gameplan or figures out the perfect adjustment, it'll be tough. That, or Trae going nuclear, or everyone else hitting and Trae distributing without turning it over... what's weird is he hasn't been hitting anything, even when wide open.

Agreed. Suns are also deep like the Jazz. I don’t think Conley is mandatory to get by the Clippers (could also be wrong of course if Kawhi/PG find another gear), but I think they will need him for Phoenix.

Actually hoping that's the next round matchup. Because either way, I won't be disappointed with the outcome. Fan of Dmitch, and want to see CP3 finally get his chance on the big stage before he hangs it up.

I'm for it. Two well-balanced, small market teams with no championships meeting in the WCF would be contrary to the criticism that the NBA is dominated by superteams.

Si. Fresh blood, and likeable crews. Wouldn't have mind seeing the Nuggs make it, but the loss of Murray was just too much.

Can't think of any. Still vividly recall how he went down in that final quarter up 3-1 on the Warriors in the WCF. You can't even make this stuff up.

Yeah, rockets had their number that year. Destiny is a messy thing.

As a concurrent Beard fan, it would actually hurt my heart seeing the Nets squash the Suns for the ring. It's not like Harden won't have infinitely more opportunities to win more before he hangs it up.

CP may have another 2 or 3 years in a highly optimistic scenario with an ever improving WC....
