By all metrics Jokic has been the best player this season.

But even if he had them 4th in the West, the narrative is all for LeBron at this point. The seed was planted a few weeks ago when Windhorst said it will be hard for LeBron NOT to win this year as he'd been overlooked in past years for other guys that have been putting together all time great seasons.

I was looking over the MVP seasons from the last 15 years and Bron and Dirk actually have been robbed a few times.

I think if the Lakers are a top 3 seed he'll get his 5th and final one. They'd really have to drop some games or he'd have to miss 6 or 7 through injury to miss out.

Resting at the end of the season won't hurt him.

My gawd, Milwaukee looks bad.

Worse than they did a few days ago. Sure they are missing Jrue, but the Raps are missing Lowry. Getting ugly

bucks down 17 at half? youve lost 4 in a row, play with some sense of urgency.

Khal said this a while back and I agree, Lebron often gets overlooked because his greatness looks effortless. He should have far more MVP trophies. I think Jokic/Embiid are still close to the top for me.

That seed wasn’t planted a few weeks ago it was planted as soon as they won the title last year.

I would say his biggest competition would come from Durant or Harden if they get hot and put up a gaudy record the rest of the way. None of these other guys are catching him if he stays healthy.

I get your point but not sure I fully agree.

AD was the best player in the first couple of games of the Finals.

Then when they won Bron told AD it's his team now.

AD really should be dominating this season and be the number 1 guy but obviously he's been injured.

Should get interesting if the Lakers start dropping a few games but I think their defense is good enough to keep a top 2 seed.

That team looks heartless. It's giving me some blow it up vibes.

The only players that have any life of the floor are both named Antetokounpo.

This is just heading towards a panic button big change.

Budenholzer to the hot seat?

This is not the kind of basketball I expected to see from Milwaukee.

They've just completely collapsed. Almost a guarantee IMHO to see Brooklyn or Philly in the finals (in their current, healthy form).

If this was happening with Jrue playing then I would be worried. Maybe, just maybe, Jrue is that important to the Bucks. I mean no other guard on the roster is able to do anything but pound the ball at the top of the arc.

This makes some sense...

but Toronto not having Lowry should even it out somewhat.

What's the limit on the # of picks than can be traded to 1 team in a trade? ... Presti has an actual treasure trove of picks in OKC... That's about the only way to get close to equal value on a 2-time MVP/DPOY just entering his prime.

He should be. Unless he spoke up about the changes in the offseason, he's complicit.

The team lost its identity. Their defense was a thing of beauty and took the life out of their opponents.

And now, because of a terrible bubble, they decided to go the other way around. They ruined the thing that made them elite. Not even Jrue coming back can fix that defense. There are too many holes.

They went from a surefire finalist to maybe losing in 6 in the second round. What a disaster.

I should have said I mean more-so coinciding with this current losing streak. They won the first game without Jrue (which they learned of shortly before the game) amd then lost the next 4, soon to be 5.

From a player perspective, yes.

But Toronto can replace Lowry with FVV, OG and Powell. Bucks with DJ, DiVincenzo and Forbes. That's a huge dropoff.

Didn’t know Schroder was out tonight too. LeBron is going to have to do some heavy lifting.

5th straight loss...... does Bud make it through the All-Star break?

Makes sense... I've watched about 3.5 game in this streak. They seem to be getting worse.

Middleton isn't stepping up. If this guy makes the all star team its a joke.

Lopez has taken a step back.

Around the rest of the roster, the talent just isn't there. Poor effort. Bad defense. Missing open shots. I don't think Jrue is enough to make up for it.

They need to figure something out or big changes are needed.

If Presti trades all his picks plus filler for Giannis this offseason, do the Bucks take it?

If the Bucks are up 54-9... Middleton can drain 3s with ease.

If Bucks trail 54-43... Middleton can't his #@#@#@#@.

Absolutely not. Only way he gets traded is if he demands it. The way he talked after signing, I doubt he demands a trade. Budenholzer is gone after the season. They must resign Holiday. They don’t have much room to do anything else. So they have to hope they get better with what they have. And I just don’t see it happening with this squad.

Would be wild if Holiday doesn’t resign.
