Considering that I've bought screenprints, have an original commission being done, and only paid $30 for my Trout, it seems doubtful. Also this may come as a surprise to you, but he is an extremely popular artist outside of this project.

Big shocker here, but not everyone is in this for money. Some people actually collect things

Ermsy was smooth sailing for me, but maybe my bank is better than others who had issues.

I already posted that I really like sophia’s work and how she has handled herself during this project regarding promoting her art but not nakedly grabbing every short term $ she can. And I think it shows itself in how her trout autos and companion cards are selling right now.

It’s looking like a nice quick sellout but one where a decent number of collectors who are paying attention and on the ball are able to get something even if it’s not exactly the specific item they want. It’s a reasonable balance between meeting demand with enough supply that people are left wanting more.

Contrast that with other offerings that are just sitting there. Not just artist autos, but player autographs too! Including the best player in the series.

Some of it due to logistics like paypal vs visa processing or overseas shipping, for sure, but also sometimes simply pricing and sheer volume.

I'd hate to be in your shoes (OK not really ). The money and eyes are there now, but it seems to be people are getting creamed with all the drops.

300-2000 (pre tax and shipping) x 20 on top of the regular releases and autos is a lot of money for me to spend. Not everyone is collecting every artist or auto or companion of course.

If you dropped the ones for your prior releases next year, I wouldn't be mad! I know your true fans would still swoop em up. I am hoping some others do it that way too.

I support whatever you decide though and appreciate you working on a holiday

Ermsy companion yesterday and Chang today. Love it. They are both very cool.

JK5 comp 1, MB 1, Fannies should arrive hopefully within the next 2 weeks.... just being optimistic

P2020 is pretty sweet. Love all the artists themselves, the opinions, the chase, all of it.

Also the Ermsy trout is getting quite expensive again on ebay.... just sayin'
