I caved and bought overpriced hobby and retail just to keep myself going. I can justify for S1; I can't for upcoming products.

Retail was a land of plenty until the shutdown. Factory sets would sit from June to May every year, even the later ones with premium add one. Series one would still be on the shelf in a gravity rack until before update released.

Around my way, it's pointless to go look for retail unless you have a hook up (ie - know the target manager, bribed the vendor, etc.) OR you stalk the vendor and go to multiple stores in a day. My city has 14 Targets within a 30 mile radius. In local Facebook groups, there are people (both collectors and flippers) who will drive around to all of the stores daily. Wild times!

My local Target had a restock and I got to pick on the leftovers lol. All Optics/Hoops were gone, but Topps Chrome Megas and some random NFL Playbook Megas sat for about an hour before they were all taken. They started doing the "3 products per customer" rule so it's allowing products to sit but still not for long.

Lots of series one baseball. And they were enforcing 3 per person. I asked if it was sku or total, and I was told the register will let me buy them, but they enforced three per total.

That’s what a lot are doing. Corporate policy is 3 per, but stores are enforcing something stricter. As far as i’m concerned corporate policy is 3 per so you’re going to have to catch me and take the extra product away from me because i’m
going to try for 3 per.

it worked last week and frankly for target it's smart because it's gotten them a ton of people to sign up for the app. I had a conversation a few weeks ago with a kiddo and his dad trying to buy 2 cases of hoops premium blasters fresh out of an excel box what things were going to be like if this continued. they ignored. I hope they enjoyed the walkoff sale.

Worked for me yesterday morning in store. Not sure now...

That was part of the observation. It’s still listed as eligible in app but didn’t work in store.

It didn’t work work for me yesterday.

Cards aren’t eligible for me in the app, games are. Didn’t it used to be games and toys where you got the discount? Mine is just “games.”

Not sure what it means but it doesn’t show the discount on the cards page but if you go to the coupon page at the bottom it shows mine as eligible. No way for me to know if it works without product* though lol

*tried an experiment with what was available and this was my results. Seems... strange/random

For me the green check mark would show up even on out of stock items, it’s not right now. It also didn’t work in store yesterday on 3 hoops premium megas.

Question is did they remove cards, or does the promo have to be “games and toys” to work on cards, not just “games”. Are cards under games, or toys...
