LeBron Exquisite /99 - altered & damaged

Hey all,

Newbie here that stumbled on this thread in my pursuit of a /99 card.

I've tried to read this entire thread, but it is a daunting task. Two questions I was hoping someone could shed some light on:

1) does anyone have authoritative list of cards that have sketchy backgrounds so I can avoid them?

2) there was talking about the 50/99 card earlier. Does anyone have any more information about it?

Now when someone copies his listings, he's gonna have to figure out how many Euros to shill it to.

EDIT: Here's that thread BTW, in case anyone missed the shilling. I've heard several people say he was just "protecting his investment." No, you need to trust your investments from the start. If you play with high end cards and fire, it could burn from time to time. Whatever you want to call it, it's manipulation.

This is really entertaining because we know that him and his friend fifthdown sports made a failed attempt at altering the market for the Lebron RPA and, "by proxy", every other Lebron card. Then going back and reading his generic non-sense addressing how he was going to sell the (verified to be altered) Lebron RPA cards in his possession he was clearly ducking the situation he landed himself in. If he ever moves those cards, I hope the people who purchase them show the cards off so they can be informed that the cards are altered and get their funds back. Perhaps another staged sale to "a stranger" under the guise of the buyer being informed, who then actually turns out to be a cohort of Eric Bitz(BuyNiceCards.com).

It amazes me there are still hobby "good guys" dealing with this P.O.S.

Also can you link us to the sources claiming he was just protecting his investment? LMAO, the balls these people have must be bigger than two hippos in a hammock. It's F'ing textbook shilling and manipulation.

They're not good guys any more. Money and the prestige of owning these rare cards clearly trumps the importance of their reputation.

BNC has done a good job of staying quiet these past months. Wonder what happens at The National.

I'm guessing he sends someone in his stead trying to sell his cards using his logo and everything. An employee so to speak. When people ask where he is, he can say he doesn't know. His cards still see the light of day and he stays in the shadows.

Why even have his logo. Its been tarnished. I think he will do this above but have someone just set up at a table with no logo. At the end of the day all he cares about is making his cash. No logo, no questions asked, no doubt.
