This is not currently accurate. High buy is around $220 for hobby and $400 for jumbo. I do expect that it will keep coming down though. I don’t see this being better than last year by this much.

If you have some kneejerk reaction to uncontrollably reply to any mention of 21BB, you can prevent the entire world from seeing how thin skinned and easily triggered you are.

Use the ignore function.

Otherwise you will just embarrass yourself, you and the same few guys, as you go out of your way to bash a sports card product and anyone who sees value in it.

It's literally 3 clicks. At least have that much self control.

Nobody's screaming at anyone for saying negative things about 21BB.

I'm also fairly certain that if you were to look at the sports card collections of people holding 21BB, it would be fairly diverse and probably include some J-Rods from 2022. Most of the posters here who are 21BB fans aren't viewing it as any kind of "one ring to rule them all." There's a market for the 1951 Bowman Mantle, and a market for the 1952 Topps Mantle.

You have a very active imagination.

My only point was, some thin skinned folks triggered by the mention of a sports card product could learn to use the ignore function, and save themselves from getting so upset over and over again.

Over at Cardsmiths, they refunded 1/3 of the purchase price off all Chrome breaks yesterday, and broke an extra case at half price. Additional hobby breaks were at much lower prices, down around $200/box.

I’m sure they’re taking a bath on this stuff, and no one would have blamed them for just keeping the money they already raised. But there are at least some shops that will take steps to make things better when a monumental screw up occurs.

BB21 comes up because Topps has mishandled so much this past year (intentionally or not) and BB was the last big screw-up (so there’s a recent connection). People are screaming about it, and there are long-term implications as to what will ultimately be the most desirable “RC” for some of these guys. ‘21 Bowman’s Best could very well become that option, for these and the other reasons already noted.
