can you imagine trump testifying under oath for 12 hours in the senate against hostile questioners that were not only out to humiliate him, but to get him tried and convicted for whatever charge they could make stick and donald doesn't crack under that pressure?

it's just amazing how this man is still touted by "conservatives" like hugh hewitt when he demonstrates repeatedly that he is psychologically unfit for the job. we have this repeating pattern of trump lashing out at those who criticize him even though he damn well knows how inappropriate his comments are.

i have no doubt that if mr khan never mentioned trump by name or implication, trump would have had nothing but kind, supporting words to say. but khan did mention him and trump can't stop putting his foot in his mouth no matter how badly it reflects on him. this is like the 5th,6th.7th time it's happened, i lost count. each time seems more egregious than the last.

trump makes nixon looks like a guy who has his bleep together mentally. i bet if trump had any criticism of nixon at all, it would be that he went too soft on his enemies...

and "conservatives" like hewitt want to give this man who is so clearly unfit power over the cia, fbi, nsa, dni, dhs, irs etc over a few supreme court picks? there is nothing "conservative" about that.

these guys have to wake up and toss out their irrational fear of hillary. she actively volunteered for goldwater, which makes her more republican than your nominee will ever be. her husband probably enacted more republican ideas into law than bush 41 and bush 43 combined. she's almost more hawkish than mccain.

I thought Trump's bashing of McCain was bad for mocking him for being a POW. But him attacking a Gold Star mother. There is no legitimate excuse. It's one of the more disgusting things I've ever seen in politics. Just let it go. When someone loses a child and is grieving you do not attack them, that's just basic humanity 101. But Trump is mad because he said he didn't read the Constitution? Lmao. How childish is this fool? And you guys are actually voting for him? Yikes, that's scary.

Does anyone have an idea of the total votes Hillary and Trump each received in the primaries?....

No, I think most people finally understand that the thread is not changing anyone's mind. Or they all put the nozzle on ignore like they should have 2500 posts ago.

This thread is pretty pointless now because some people refuse to discuss policy and instead stick to repeating how terrible Trump/Hillary and all of their voters are. What's the point of posting when every 3rd post is the same guy saying the same things for 50 pages?

The funny part is that he can't even attack Trump's policy proposals, he just sticks to calling his supporters idiots and talking about his tweets lol

We've tried a couple times to get him to talk policy and he just ignores it... Too bad

Considering the amount of votes taken by the other candidates running in the Republican primary, very impressive our hero and my future master Trump got 13+ million.

Soon he will lead all of us into better times. I cannot wait to follow him blindly wherever he takes us.

First debate is two months away. Not sure why all the Trump haters think they are going to change the undecided peoples minds about who they are going to vote for. They may have even caused some Hillary voters on here to vote against her LOL. I think the Hillary voters need to be concerned about the Bernie supporters because this could be another Ross Perot type situation.

Republicans just need to worry about Trump offending every other person, religion, culture, veteran, occupation, country, sexual orientation, race over the next two months before the first debate.

This should be fun.

It goes both ways, not just Trump haters.

And besides, I still don't understand the point of population poll on the national level like one conduces the poll on the internet. I just want to know the swing states' results. Everything else is locked already.

They may want to staple his mouth shut. And, ban him from using social media.

This , national polls are useless. Also the experts say don't even look at anything until after labor day.

You're not wrong about that one.

Getting "real" for a minute, it's pretty clear what Trump's "schtick" is: be in the news; ALL the time. Good? Bad? Doesn't matter. As long as people are talking about him, that's all he wants. It keeps his base riled up. It keeps them interested in going to the polls and "fighting" for him.

We can discuss his merits as a President (I'm sure someone can come up with something other than "He's not a politician"), but if people really wanted to piss Trump off: STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM. It's like feeding a troll online; if you stop giving him attention, he goes away.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled, "Dems suck repubs rule and Repubs suck dems rule" shenanigans.

In 2004, John Kerry was drilling on Bush why Bush went to war too quickly. And then there was Osama Bin Laden's video saying "hi" a few days before the election.

It's all just a big publicity stunt to him and the media loves it. He's offended just about everyone he can already, can't really get that much worse.

The media and Trump are both making money hand over fist with him saying outlandish things and I can promise you that will not change.

Let's be completely honest, the race is over Clinton is going to win. She's going to make boatloads of cash making shady deals with shady businessmen in shady overseas government contracts. Trump and the media are going to make boatloads of cash every time he tweets something , the debates are going to be huge money maker and get huge ratings.

Everyone at the top wins and the rest of America loses

Some fairly poor polling numbers for Trump over the last couple of days. DNC bounce no doubt. Be interesting to see where the dust settles over the next couple of days.

Polls are useless. They provide no good indication of anything. They just survey 1000 people and call it a poll to keep the cycle going

Koch Brothers coming out and not only not supporting Trump but telling their cohorts not to as well is not good. I could honestly see them throwing some money Gary Johnson's way since he is very closely aligned with their views now more than the Republicans. What a mess. Clinton is going to win and we may see a president get sworn in with a record low approval rating. What a crappy election season. Both parties had four years to get their act together and this is the best we get. Disgusting. Then again, voters have a share of the blame too. I feel like a lot of people voted for Trump not because they like him, but they hate the establishment. Still, people voted for him in record amounts, now we're stuck with him.

Gonna be a long three months.

The Ross Perot situation that helped her husband win both of his Presidential elections?

Bernie has endorsed Hillary. Bernie supporters who won't vote for Hillary probably wouldn't have ended up actually turning out to the polls to vote for Bernie either. I mean, what if the surf were awesome high on election day?
