I don't think I've picked up an Ermsy card to date & I'm kind of regretting it. The more of his releases I see the more I dig his style. I went back & forth on his last couple releases, but never pulled the trigger since I've been trying to limit my purchases.

Fucci. To quote TBP, Shore and Fucci are stealing money from Topps and those that buy their cards. They put no effort into their work. Unlike TBP, I exercise my right to not buy their cards. I only buy what I like.

Just looked at this weeks releases. Monday killed it with two amazing cards.

Yesterdays cards are absolutely terrible. Both were two of my favorite artists early on. Thiele decided to start doing murals. And really bombed since the Mattingly.

Efdot was solid early on. The Gwynn is a real beauty. Seems like he has been trying to profit on all the crazy things going on in the world. The Gooden is a joke and trying to claim its in support our health workers is just plain wrong. Following him on Patreon has lead me to like him even less. Just seems like a phony.

For what it’s worth, he is donating some of the proceeds to the United Way, and I believe he donated some of the Jackie proceeds to another cause.

This opinion is what makes this set outstanding, and the divergence is part of what’s going to keep it relevant long into the future. I loved the Gooden. It speaks to our time here right now, and brilliantly incorporates that into a pairing that makes sense. Dr. K fit it perfectly. To each his own.

Yeah I probably shouldn't have said anything. I try not to comment on things like this. Maybe I need some coffee and am in a grumpy mood. It just seems to me he's taking advantage of things in the name of art. It just seems tacky.

It might just hit you the wrong way. No problem with that. Not everyone is going to like everything about all these. I imagine a lot of people think it’s tacky.

If I could only choose one from the series it would be Ermsy for sure.

FWIW, the last few should be easy to pick up at near or below msrp, should you decide to get them.

I don't know how the guy always have the info so well in advance, but it looks really nice.
Probably the closest Oldmanalan have gotten to the original rookie card, while still implementing his "take completely different image from elsewhere" method...
