There may not be, but it would not take much moisture getting into the bag to cause a potential problem. This was just a problem some sellers have mentioned as issues in the past.

interesting, maybe raining in transit. Even if I bought something in the rain, by the time it's listed, sold and packaged. I can't imagine a situation where it would still be wet by the time I got it into a bag.

I've been using our County classifieds on Facebook and have been selling a ton. No fees, and I just meet people in town and get cash immediately.

This is what I've been doing as well. Just Facebook search for "Your city buy sell trade" and you'd be amazed.

this is an example of not researching what you're selling... mine was not as good condition wise and sold for $110 more

Likely did, many of the Marvel caps go for big money on Ebay.

Picked this up for $15 framed at a local thrift store. Bought it because I loved space jam, I'm a bulls fan, and I'm from Iowa. Couldn't believe it said Iowa on the poster.

I liked it even more when I saw the last one sold for $200 on ebay

I am in over 20 local groups on Facebook. I've met people at the grocery store, Walmart, etc. Oh jeez it could be up to around 100 meetings in the last 3 months since I started this.

You have to work around schedules yes but for the most part if you do your end of the deal by getting them to a close nuetral site then the good may outweight the bad here. I've had a couple people reschedule at the last moment which is understandable but other than that most of the time when I show up I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes with a sale. And I generally want sell anything unless it's a $10 + transaction.

People are starting to ask if I sell other stuff and I'm figuring out a way to organize my items in my phone gallery so that if needed they can quickly scroll through my stuff. If they want to buy more and have no cash then I also am set up to accept credit or debit card through my phone using a tool called Square.

Picked this polo long sleeve shirt up today. Can somebody help me identify it and possibly a price range? Is it vintage? Is this logo important or make it more valuable? Thanks.

How much you profit off that $100-$150?

I would think much more. Assume $5 cost per item. Assume $5 per shipping per item. That's $270 total. Factor in eBay and PayPal fees, I can't recall exact numbers, so let's assume 15% total and round that up to $150. That's still well north of $400 profit, and I think that would be pretty conservative.

This would apply to us selling thrift shop pickups like clothes etc. However he is selling video games and markers bought from walmart etc. I'm curious how much he is making off these purchases.

Went with my Grandpa to set up at a toy show in York Sunday.. only took a couple things but that Candy Land purse I bought for $4 I quickly sold it for $10.. probably could've got more off the woman she didn't even hesitate.. Sold some stuff I got from Disney and ended up blowing it all on old school Power Rangers stuff lol

Not a pick up, but I just bought my wife and daughter a very nice Christmas gift each purely from thrifting profits. Love this!

Most was bought with a 500 gift card, the gift card was a donation reward. Me and wife donate plasma all year long twice a week. You get points by donating here with your donations through the year that can be used to "buy" extra gifts on top of the extra money. We were both able to get a 500 dollar gift card this year again with our points, and like for the past 3 years I took mine and went nuts on Black Friday with mine.

So 200 is close, but it was free money to begin with, unless you count the blood loss. Only thing I am really out is the Paypal/Ebay fees which are about 15%. Which with my CC I get 1.5% back when I pay them.
