Beautiful card for sure. It was talked about 4-5 pages ago in more detail but any NT with a non streaky auto I think is good long term.

If you know about Veriswap, a guy had a PSA 9 on there for around $7500, but I think he recently raised the price to around $8300. Either way if you could get it around that price that would be a steal, or possible trade for it.

What do people think of his 2017 Vertex RPA? Probably my favorite looking of all his, and still can be acquired for relatively cheap.

Neat card. A little busy in design. And it lacks the brand name that even stuff like Immaculate has.

Forgot about Vertex, it’s definitely in the “value” range too for on card auto’s, I don’t like it enough to buy it personally though.

There is one at auction right now on eBay numbered to /25 I believe but has a terrible auto.

If I were to re-rank this list, I would move the certified cuts, XR, and vertex out of the top 10. Probably behind origins or something as there is no real following for any of those brands.

I think I would swap the contenders rookie ticket auto with the impeccable auto as well. I really like the impeccable auto, but just feel that the contenders auto is more of the flagship card behind the NT RPA

Not sure I would have any college jersey autos before any of the pro jersey autos either

I would also have Donruss elite draft picks as his worst rookie. Just an awful design. Would swap score and classics as well.

I like the vertex parallels with the multicolor patches. Not sure how I feel about the granite parallel borders, but their patches on the/25 look nicer. Not sure I would classify these as value though. They seem to be priced at a pretty healthy premium to some other options.

Gold Prizm , followed by cracked ice / Champ ticket contenders
Flawless RPA

I might be biased, but I think it's his best looking card from his rookie year. Might not be considered a true rookie, but I think it might have the best eye appeal of all of his first year cards. Now I don't own an RPA, but I do own a number of his other rookies, including his Contenders Rookie Ticket Auto, and the NT Rookie Signature is my favorite Mahomes card in my collection.

The fact that the base is /20 makes me really want one... the fact that it's the less recognizable of the Flawless releases keeps be from actually buying one.

I just can't drop $20-30K on the card knowing that the RPA is the more popular card.

For me my ranking is just based on my personal taste in regards to the design of the card

Have seen the lineage comment a couple of times now on this thread when top rookies come up in discussion. 2010 vs. 2012 (first in bball) it’s not decades apart and nobody in the market today was ripping either 20+ years ago.

IMO these high-ends preferences rotate in waves and will more then likely shuffle in the next 5-10 years and probably even replaced by whatever fanatics pushes.
