I would think he would've been traded already so I don't think he's going anywhere. He'll either do good and he's a keeper for 10yrs or flame out and lose all trade value.

Yeah too bad they didn't take Schmidt for Soto and we still had King.

Kind of why all the excitement around international draft signings is silly. The best athlete at 16 from a place notorious for lying about ages is not guaranteed to be the best athlete by the time everyone is 22-23.

I received my Cody Bellinger Topps Now card today. I wonder if the 2025 Topps Team set will be the 1st regular card of his as a Yankee.

Actually of their draft picks, Andrew Abbott has the highest WAR of those they let go.

I know he's not a superstar. But given our current IF dilemma. I'd love to see Josh Smith back from Texas

.258/.337/.394/.731 last season with 13 HR, 67 R, 62 RBI, 11 SB

Saw another reason the Yankees didn't sign a long term first baseman this year was the possible posting of Munetaka Murakami next year.

Well Muncy has I think a team option so if the Dodgers are building the Japan national team, he's going there.

Their pos player FA are Taylor, Muncy, and Conforto. So they'll probably sign Murakami and Tucker.

Pipeline to the Japanese league. It is getting to the point where they need to put a limit on the number of Japanese players any one team can have.

They just need to make the draft international.

I'd rather have Vladdy anyway. Let's see if money cures his "I never want to play for the Yankees" illness.

Depending how Bellinger does in NY, if I'm the Yanks, I'm looking to sign Kyle Tucker in the 2025 off season. Move Bellinger to 1B or Judge to 1B and have your OF's be JDom, Judge and Tucker. Or JDom, Bellinger and Tucker. Tucker's lefty swing would do well in Yankee Staduim.

We don't have a ton of pos player fa, its Grisham, Goldy, and Belli with player option.

And I don't see Grisham being re-signed. He's a 4th outfielder and they can always use Cabrera in that role.
