As for th cohibas, hopefully the humi is full of them in good shape that way you have some to enjoy as it stands.

I have a $700 order in my basket at CI right now. It includes a 250 stick humi, an electric humidifier and most of the requisite pieces to be fully functional. It also has about 110 sticks or so.
you seriously need to look into doing a coolidor before having so many humidors. i think you said you have 2 in rotation right now. might work out better for you and be alot cheaper.

Wineador would work too. Probably a lot easier.

I've got 293 full sized cigars right now. 75% are in my long term storage/aging setup. Walmart has these awesome storage containers that have a seal around the rim. $10 and 2 Boveda packs....I'm at 62% and 63F....perfect

The bigger one would eliminate the other two. I can always give them away or use them to store some other things.

I have taken the suggestion though and looked into a coolidor and a wineador.

The coolidor wouldn't match the aesthetics of my basement (where my cigars are). The wineador would but the basement is carpeted. Would there be any issues having basically a small fridge placed on carpet?

No clue with the fridge on carpet. My parents have had one on carpet for 20+ years, no problem.

Just ordered some sticks from Isabela. Habanero notes? Sounds delicious

Why does Gurkha get a bad rap? THey are quality sticks but not typically worth the premium that is charged for them. Shoot, I have about 50 Gurkha Beauty in my humi ready to roll for spring. I paid $3 a piece around Christmas time. I wouldn't get the same warm and fuzzy if I had paid double or triple that amount.

I also like the orange label Camacho. Not sure of the actual name but it is the mild-ish orange label.

I am glad that this thread has been bumped.

Some forums and FB groups constantly hate on Gurkha. While I've never had a bad one, I've never had a great one. I think if Gurkha dropped their MSRP to a more reasonable level people wouldn't expect Opus, Davidoff, Padrón quality.

But I don't know anyone at all, ever, who pays msrp.

But what you are saying has a ton of merit. High price, high expectations.

I think that Gurkha makes a quality smoke and they are worth every penny when they are on sale.

This the truth!

I played 9 after work tonight. Enjoyed an Oro Cubano cheapie. Not a bad stick for less than what a 20 oz Soda costs.

Had a Ramon Bueso Genesis yesterday. Nice dark roasted flavor, minimal spice after the first third, and for the first time I got a creaminess texture/flavor to the smoke. Great cigar. Had to put it down about 5 minutes into the last third. Got a buzz that went beyond pleasurable. Up until that point I truly enjoyed this cigar that was about $2.50 in the sampler I bought. Definitely on my to smoke list. Doubt I'd pay MSRP but if it's in a sampler? I won't complain.

Any suggestions on full flavored Gurkhas? Figured I'd give them a shot. I've got about 7 different Gurkhas sitting in my aging box. They're just all huge cigars I don't have the time to smoke right now (saving them for golf!).

Got it narrowed down to a Legado de Pepin, Hogs Head by Torano (loved everything by him so far), or a Gurkha Centurion for tomorrow.

I like the Gurkha Beauty but it isn't full flavored. Its full-flavored counterpart is the Beast.

Had a Bering yesterday. Well.....didn't have one. Got 10 puffs in and threw it away. Tasted like ammonia. After dissecting it the long filler had some green areas and so did the binder. Aged tobacco? Not so much....

Any good places to buy singles? I don't need 5 packs and then trying to figure out what to do with 4 I don't like.

I'm fine with a little more than packs. Local B&M can be anywhere from $3-$5 more than online. If I'm sampling and buying a lot of randoms, I want to save some cash. Don't mind paying higher prices for something I know I'll like.

I have some sticks from a random Cigars International Bender Ender 80 Cigar sampler. Would love to gift some of these to one or both of you guys if you are interested.

I dont really want them. I over ordered a few weeks ago and would rather fill my new humi with the 60 or so other smokes that i Have.

Let me know if you guys are interested.

I enjoyed a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur Epicure that I have had in my humi for about 6 months. I had been waiting for decent weather to enjoy it. I smoked it this morning after i had some whiskey. I had a head change, not drunk but certainly feeling good.

I also had a Rocky Patel 20th anniversary that my mother-in-law picked up for me this week.
