How could someone by so gullible? From the moment he began talking with her I knew he was playing her and going to escape. If I was living in this doomsday scenario where you can't trust anyone I would have gagged his mouth the moment he tried to speak to me. Sorry, but that was just incredibly stupid, predictable and well...poor writing.

I thought it was "OK" but I expected more action and less fishing.

Also wish Rick would have just shot the cop in the face.

Wonder if Eugene has died and turned? Kinda sounded like it and they cut the scene before you know what happens.

I'm also about sick of Tyreese being a wimp about everything...either kill him off or straighten him out already.

Discussion questions for this week:

1. Is it me or is the entire plot line of intrepid heroic original cast vs. the next evil/twisted group of survivors (Governor's community, Terminus, and now hospital/fake cops) starting to get a bit tired?

2. Given the increasing evidence of zombie decay (sidewalk-fried zombie), will we reach a time in the not too distant future when they are no longer common or a serious threat? Or will the universal nature of the infection keep refreshing the numbers as initial wave survivors die?

3. Who will be a casualty in the midseason finale:
a) Carol
b) Tyrese
c) Daryl
d) Abraham
e) Rosita
f) Beth

I think the walker decay was from when they napalmed Atlanta back in season 2...notice the trailer aluminum was melted as well...

The writing is so transparent with these characters, and unrealistic given their circumstance. Then again, it's a comic book, not the Great Gatsby.

How long does a Zombie keep? If they're rotting day by day, losing flesh, how long before they're walking Army of Darkness Bones monsters?

That's a good point - I guess if napalm was involved that would affect the matter of decay - any idea of the approximate time passage between seasons 2 and the current one, as represented in the show? About a year? 18 mos.?

Don't think it happens before the mid-season break but should hopefully be moving towards something else soon. Will certainly begin this season.

Not all walkers turned at the same time, one standing there could have been a year and a half ago and bit the guy next to him who turned a week ago. Eventually, but don't think it'll be this soon (within the next two seasons at least).

Eugene is alive and fine. Not a chance they would kill his character that quick. And from what I saw is watching with subtitles he says "hello" when he murmurs.

When are we going to get electricity for those gates? These basketball forum guys are certainly stupid but it doesn't take a genius to climb a gate. We need to get the electricity up again so they'll be electrocuted when they attempt to jump over.
