Where are you located? I wonder what options you have for shipping if you didn’t do it direct. For instance: if you transferred them to a trusted U.S. Member, could they then send them to you for less overall than ePacks’ direct price.
Thinking out loud,

I'd definitely be up for that if we have any trusted members here willing to help! I'm happy to pay or offer comics in return. I'd love to know how much 30 or so comics from USA to Melbourne, Australia would really cost compared to the upper deck price. I thought about using forwarders, but big orders means very big fees when I'd prefer someone to get bulk delivery and then ship in chunks (as with Australia to USA postage, once you reach a weight threshold the price jumps significantly).

Otherwise, I'll be saving to send home my collection and no longer using the service, even though I absolutely love it! With our only grading option here being $50usd-ish a book, even modern, soft slab seems to be a great cheapo alternative!

My quick research says I could send a 12lb package by Priority Mail International for $160. That should hold approx. 40 comics with bubble wrap.
I had an order sent to me of 30 comics for $35. I’m in southern NY so I’m not sure about other zones. (Let’s say 40 comics would be $45.)
So… would it save much to send 40 of your comics through me for basically $205 or the $300+ dollars you mentioned for all 100 comics?
My research also gives me doubts about some of the off-brand shippers. They seem to be more of a gamble. FEDEX, UPS, and DHL all cost more than the USPS.
Not sure if anyone is cheaper for 100 comics,
Vinny
PS: $87.50 Priority Mail International® Medium Flat Rate Box
USPS-Produced Box: 13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" Might get 12 comics in the box with tight wrapping.

Phew, that was a lot of maths! I hugely appreciate the help there, getting the quotes and alternatives! It does look like shipping 100 straight from UD would be cheapest as $320usd. I'd definitely be slugged GST on top of that, but I am not sure what value UD would use on the box.

I just have to think of is as $5AUD a comic to have is soft slabbed and it's a good value proposition! It's just a big hit at once 😂

I think UD would/should use the initial cost. Probably average $5 so $500 overall. I’m not sure how the comic market is there but hopefully you can defer the cost with your extras.
Best Always,
Vinny
PS: Keep me in mind if you have any shipping angles, I ship stuff all the time.

nice! they seem to be getting new books up quicker now.

I must be having really bad luck or it got harder to pull variants or there's just more users now than there used to be but I cant hit variants anymore.

I know it's still possible because you all are getting them ha. But early on I know if I threw $100+ in I would get at least one variant...but I havent hit in a couple months worth of orders lol.

My rate is a lot lower also lately. I spend $80-$120 and no variant. It’s hard to figure out, if I want 4 copies of a cool issue I might buy 8 hoping for a variant. I’m slowly cutting back on the gamble but the variants are what can get you your money back for those 4/8 issues.

Default Quick urge to gamble on some nice issues…

Just ordered $150 worth of 3 issues and got…
1:54 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (Disney version) 25 GREG LAND VIRGIN BLACK AND WHITE VARIANT
and
1:27 SILK #1 Nakayama variant

Bought 10 WARLOCK: REBIRTH 1 ALEX ROSS TIMELESS THANOS VIRGIN VARIANTs. Tried for the Ross sketch of Thanos but no luck.
Oh well,
Vinny

Oh I'm def gonna cut back on the gamble for sure if it stays harder to get.
At this point I'm paying more for some of these base comics than I can get at my LCS or wait a bit and a some will hit $2/$1 bins. Not to mention cost of shipping these.

The site does make it really easy to buy comics though haha

Just dropped a little over $100 on CF and landed two variants:

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 25 ED MCGUINNESS VARIANT (1:27)

EXTREME VENOMVERSE 1 LEINIL YU VIRGIN VARIANT (1:53)

So not too bad...

Love that GL ratio hit! Might have to try to snag one. GL has always been a favorite.

Saw images of the Brooks corner box cover variants for Avngers 1 and a X-Men cover so went 5 and 5 on each and ended up with the AVENGERS 1 KAEL NGU VIRGIN VARIANT 1:100!

Not too shabby…

Is there a limit to the size of a shipment of comics from ePack? I have tried the 350 I have in inventory all shipped at one time. Times out. Tried 60 today and can't get it to create a shipment. I don't see any language on site about a maximum comic order to be mailed at a time; is there one?
Has anyone else been able to ship comics from ePack? Even 50 comics times out.

Not sure since I haven’t tried more but I’ve gotten 36 twice. Those were in 2 inner boxes in one bigger box by FedEx.
Gotta run,
Vinny

I can't even get 35 to work right now. I guess I'll have to call or email them.

Well, I submitted a question via their website, and got a very quick response. 99 is the maximum comics that can be shipped at a time, and they fixed my account so I can complete shipping orders.
