We all want things cheaper but considering X-men metal is holding at $650-750 it seems that this will likely be much higher than $600 at launch (since Spider-Man should trade at a premium to X-men)

I think your logic is a bit off. You are comparing current prices of MUSM to MUXm but are overlooking that supply of unopened MUSM is still at 100% vs. unopened MUXM which is probably less than 10% of its total print run and is a factor of why it is priced where it is today.

True, but even taking into account wax supply left, when push comes to shove...which box do you think almost anyone in the hobby would pay more for at this point? X-men or Spidey?

Maybe Im wrong, but I imagine almost anyone would value a Spidey metal box higher, even given the discrepancy in supply.

Not to mention the known QC problems with X-Men

But sealed boxes are a Schroedinger's cat scenario. They are both damaged or not damaged until it is opened. At this point, X-Men Metal is still a strong hold for sealed boxes.

That’s great but the point is opening this at $600+ is gonna leave you, more likely than not, very unhappy.

Most people holding x men metal got it at $100 or $150, holding a box of $600 for appreciation purposes seems risky! Same thing with sapphire imho .. although I have two boxes of that sitting on my shelf

People have been pre ordering them starting ar like $250 a box. My 1st batch was $300 a box up to $450. I don't think many bought at $600 hence why not sold out again. Plus you are way under estimated the whatnot breakers for this product. There will be easy 20 people breaking boxes of this every day for weeks. If you been on app you see how much of the weisss kayou and camon was broke over past months. Spidey is 1st new release since whatnot took off as breaking app.

A new wrinkle is the PMGs are supposed to look better. Now the art chosen, who knows.

Are the PMGs thick like the FUSM PMGs?

my guess it will be same as xmen with high series being 1st app artwork and that seems like what sell sheet pics looked like but low series will be interesting to see how new artwork they pic.

Sketches are 1 per 12 box case

I assume #24 of the Palladium set is Mary Jane, its noted as not listed but seems like a fairly obvious exclusion if its not

Interesting. I have several Rhinos to chase, but not a single Firestar?

Nope, cardboard connection contradicted themselves saying that there's a case hit between sketches or other items like comic clippings.

Has anyone done the math to guesstimate the hobby/ePack print run? And how does that compare to the best estimate of MUXM’s print run?
