I know this is a shot in the dark since most of the people who frequent this thread are passionate Ichiro collectors -- and not sellers. But here goes

If anyone has a PSA 10 or BGS quad 9.5 T-266 Ichiro Retrofractor or T-99 Ichiro/Pujols Retrofractor and is willing to part ways with either, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Ichiro 2001 Rookie Worn Autographed Asics Running Shoes

- worn in 2001, Ichiro's electric Rookie of the Year / MVP season
- with big, bold rookie (original version) signatures and "#51" in silver ink in toe area of both shoes
- with "51" in heel of both shoes
- with Ichiro's official diamond hologram on the side of the toe area in both shoes, only affixed on game-used equipment
- with ADA Financial Letter of Authenticity, prepared for Upper Deck

This is my favorite Ichiro RC! It was the toughest RC set to complete IMHO (6x cards total. Refractor, Xfractor & Gold. 2x Japanese & English back) I love the classic BC Chrome Rookie Card Design logo. In my experience there is no preference between the two backs. The Xfractors I believe are approx 250 print run on each and the Gold is #/99. 50 are english back (odd serial #'s) and 49 are japanese back (even #'s).

Thanks for the reply…these are also my favorite ichiro RCs. I feel like the xfractor and golds don’t come up too often, but a nice copy of the gold version sold last night on pwcc.

Some recent additions to the Ichiro stack!

The Calbee recently arrived from Japan and is in fantastic condition. I wonder if the tiny little speck of white along the bottom-left edge near the rounded corner would prevent it from a PSA 10. The rest of the card is perfect.

Meanwhile, I'm patiently waiting for a Bowman Chrome Japanese or TC Traded Retrofractor to come to market in PSA 10 (Yes, I know I missed the Retro 10 in December on eBay...). One day!

This BC Japanese 9 is in fantastic shape. As is the case with Ichiro's BC and Topps rookies, the main concern with eye appeal always comes down to centering, and it's great finding a well-centered specimen in any grade.

They are incredible!

I did get them at the event on Saturday. The buyback 1/1 was in my swag bag and the auto was in one of the sets.

Has anyone noticed that Ichiro patch auto card are really rare? Specifically with him in a Mariners uniform, and with a patch not just a plain jersey piece. There’s only a handful available on eBay and they’re all like $1,500+

Unusual considering even Mike Trout has a million available.

Off topic - does anyone have patch autos to show off?

I think Topps must have a hard time acquiring them at a price point they want. Otherwise, they hopefully would have put one on this otherwise beautiful card of mine.

The full on color match between the photo and the patch is awesome. It's annoying how often there's a total mismatch between the two.

Picked up a neat card with Ichiro on it for my PC. I specifically collect Felix Hernandez, Seattle Mariners, and HOF patches. I'm very happy with the price I ended up getting this for, and here is a breakdown of the patches that helped my decision to go after it:

• The Felix patch: The back of the number 4 from a 2012 American League All Star jersey. Felix did not pitch due to his active pitch count, and two months prior he pitched his Perfect Game.
  
• The Griffey Jr. patch: Piping from a 1999 Mariners Sunday alternate home jersey. This was the first year of silver piping on the front of the jersey, and it was Griffey's last year performing as a Seattle Mariner.
  
• The Ichiro patch: This comes from a 2012 Mariners away jersey. It is a piece of the 35th Mariners Anniversary logo from the bottom left of the 1977-2012 ribbon.

Picked up my first Ichiro auto for my Mariners/future HOF PC. Not sure I want another one unless it's a RC year auto. Pretty happy with this one. I could care less that it was out of the taped one-touch these cards normally come in, and it makes for a better photo in my opinion:

I don't have many Ichiro cards but the one I own is near and dear to my heart. I have been searching for the 2002 Topps Gallery Variation 2 (set of 10 cards) for the last 20 years and I only have 3/10 so far. Ichiro, Piazza, A. Rod.
