incase i wasnt clear, i am not in need of any guidance on the subject of post-war Rookie Cards.

Prospect inserts, base parallels or other non-Rookie Cards though, i may be a bit rusty.

and you are absolutely correct, there is no wrong way to collect!

If Bichette happens to emerge as a true superstar, this will be the card to get. His core fan base is going eat up the Canadian aspect, and I can’t imagine there are more than a couple thousand of these. Plus, it’s a nice action shot (sorta bat down-ish) with his name and number in full view.

While I love the variation and think its cool, Im not so sure its going to be THE card to get. Remember...it's still Opening Day. Opening Day! Not Flagship. OD is looked down upon in the hobby. Most see it as a joke or a cheap kid product. While it will hold some value if he becomes a star, it will never be a Bat Down, Torres 699, NNO equal. Same goes for Luis Robert's OD card.

I’d say it’s still to be determined, and it depends on your parameters. Are you including parallels and variations?

My favorite is the Opening Day Canadian variation. And then the flagship parallels and photo variations are all great grabs. The Heritage action and auto are good ones.

Beyond that, there isn’t that much choice. Can’t go wrong with the Bowman Chrome auto. The Gypsy Queen blue auto is a pretty sharp-looking card, though it’s probably not destined to be a top chase caed.

2020 topps Finest flashbacks

Black refractor or red...I think ref has autos also.

These will be hot in a few weeks and years if he can draw walks and hit hrs.

Anybody have a beat on the Heritage superfractor??? I knocked out the gold and white refractors and the white paper in one swoop. If I can get the super, the rest of the rainbow/spectrum will be easy.

I'd have to back track a lot, but I've seen the owner on some FB groups trying to sell the whole damn rainbow for $6,500

Just beat me too the punch when he got in on ebay for $1,100 I beleive last month or so to....
