Good thing I have these along with 13 base Giannis Prizm rookies, I tried to take a picture of everything but it wasn't working. Sadly the centering on the silver prizm is off so best case would be either BGS 9.5 with 9 centering or PSA 9.

I'll need to do a PSA shipment at some point of all the base cards plus maybe the autograph.

I got all three of those plus probably 8-10 of the base out of one 12 box case I got right when it came out. I was pretty mad about the case at the time because "nothing good" came out of it. I ended up finding all this stuff probably a year after I had opened it, and I even tried getting around 50 bucks for the purple prizm on ebay but luckily nobody bought it.

I never noticed the defect in the autograph with the part near his hand kind of having a hole in it, not sure what happened there but kind of sucks.

A few years ago as part of a Panini redemption I was provided an Orange Spectra Auto/relic card jersey numbered 34/60. It arrived after he was starting to establish himself in the league so I held it for over 6 months. His card prices at that time never climbed and I went through a period of selling off a lot of my collection. I think I got around $40 for it....

I saw him in person for the first time the other day when he came to Boston. I had great seats so I could really get a sense of what was going on in the court. He is beyond impressive. So strong and fluid at the same time. His ball and body control was outstanding. He’s going to be one of the best in the league for a long long time. I’m looking forward to following his career.

One thing my buddy and I were wondering is what was his reaction when he first got off the plane in Milwaukee. Growing up poor in Athens and dreaming of America I bet he never envisioned living in Wisconsin! Beautiful area but not what I think a lot of Europeans think of when they think of America.

The 7.5 Surface might be a tough bump. Wouldn't it need a full point bump to get a 9?

I did a little research with the Silver Prizms last night. 76 Silvers have been graded a 9.5 .. only 25 have been graded a Quad 9.5 or better. of the 25... 12 have atleast 1 10 grade and 13 Quad 9.5 GEMs. I made a Google Doc to keep track. I didn't include any card with a 9.0 sub grade.

Raw base Prizm's have doubled since preseason started. Who has the highest priced raw base now?

Yes it would and that's literally the only thing preventing me for doing it.

The thing is (and this was in a thread from a while ago) most (if not all) Giannis' prizms have a little dot on the surface. I've seen some with the same one as mine and they were 9.5 or 9 on the surface...I got a tough grader and hit 7.5

It's tough to get a point bump but if the grader knows about that particular card condition, I could get it.

Nothing else wrong with the surface? No minor scuff that dinged it?

That dot is what dings the surface most of the time. That's why I made that Google Doc... was curious to see how many Quad 9.5s existed.

Prices are at banana land levels.. got a base psa 10 few nights ago after I wore the guy down for $70 and now people are asking $100 for bgs 9.5 .. crazy train in full effect
