It’s like no one has seen his work out regime. The guy knows how to take care of himself. I want my QB to be thicc so he can take those hits. I will say, I think he has got a good shot of going the Griffey route when he gets older and would not be surprised to see him be pretty pudgy with his 8 rings on his fingers in about 25 years.

Patty is such a great star. In an age where IG worship of bodies is all the rage right now, here's the world's most dominant young athlete looking like your average Wal Mart employee. Seriously no offense to WM employees.

A God-gifted cannon is superior to the gym bros and IG models 10 year fitness obsessions. I'm not sure what the big deal is, except that everyone is so accustomed to seeing ripped 6 packs everywhere you look on social media, it actually reveals a sad state of society in general to just assume everyone should look like them.

Back to the auto discussion again, I’ve been looking into Contenders Optic a little today after always just assuming they would be out of my price range.

It looks like a BGS 9 w/ 9 auto went for a little under 5k recently. There are a few 8.5’s listed on various places, what would you guys value an 8.5 with 9 auto?(I don’t see anything wrong with the auto)

I was watching that one too lol. I messaged the seller asking if it was a reprint and what do you know they didn’t respond. I don’t understand the point in this though after the implementation of the authenticity guarantee on eBay.

5.4 is what I’m looking to buy one for in something like a BGS 9.

Do you think it's possible that he has an exclusive deal with Fanatics waiting in the wings? He has seriously scaled back the number of autographs he provides to Panini the past couple seasons. Like I can't even recall him having one in any of this year's products (as of now). Don't get me wrong, when you become the golden goose, some of it is to be expected as he is super busy and they want to avoid oversaturating the market, but something seems strange. I know he did a signing a few weeks ago with a local group here in KC, but I believe it was no submissions, no cards, and most of the memorabilia was tied to this most recent Super Bowl.

Mahomes hasn't signed a thing since 2022. Any autos after 2022 are all aftermarket.

And he signed a very small amount in 2021 and 2022.

He has such an odd auto market: Hardly anything signed in the last 4 years, but so many 2017 autos that you'll never had trouble finding one.

Still looking for a rookie auto, but man some people still think it’s 2020-2021.

When comps show a card worth 5k-5.5k, you’re not getting 9.5k for it.

Take the Limited auto for instance, the last two sales are BGS 8 and 8.5 for 2.6 and 2.8 but people are asking 8k for them and seem offended by a 3k offer lol

I’ve pretty much looked everywhere online for one with no luck. I’m just going to have to be patient and wait for something good to come up for auction because that seems like the only way to buy at market value.
