Fair enough but when is the last time an international signee with this much advance hype came along? If you want to get people excited you sometimes need to break from the expected norm. And plenty of cards/autos of him in his jammies for Panini already. Im just saying bringing back Bowman Heritage with an auto of him would have made a giant splash and probably break the internet as well as crash Topps website with people wanting to join up. Would have been a genius marketing move IMO and possibly a red letter date for Topps signaling another big move away from the current "distributor" model and towards direct to customer sales.

based on the wander photo are they going with a 1953 bowman color look? Would make sense with the b/w parallels.

Saying it's based on '53 made me believe it's a color release. The b/w parallels basically confirms it.

No way Topps cancels any amount of orders. Last year they had 1 Brooklyn collection box per member and I got billed for 2. I called topps and they asked me if I wanted the extra box. So I ebb fed up getting 2 boxes

Sure you should. You just have to know what to open. There are many products each year that you can make a very good return on. You just have to know what to open and how much of it to open.

Yeah, definitely not busting wax for ROI.

Wander would be nice to help recoup some of the cost of what I think should be a fun rip.

With less junk prospect autos and more MLB autos I think this would be a gret buy in the $70-80 range but I just don't see the value in this product at this price point.

That doesn't mean he'll have the "RC" logo. None of the Topps NOW cards they issued for him had the RC logo either. Instead they have "Call up" which is what I expect they will do in this set.

Topps went so far to avoid printing a card with him and the word "rookie" that they completely left him out of the recent throwback Thursday set for the 2019 award winners (MVP, CY, ROY). He was the ONLY award winner that didn't have a card in that set. Weird, right?

It's official, 0 for 1 on the early access pre-sale benefit of 582. And the price of this has me very worried about how much they're going to charge for Sapphire.

We know that Topps employees read these boards. Sometimes I feel as though we are doing their Quality Control for them, heh. Yordan as RC, buy buy buy! Tatis X set with autographs every 2.5 packs, buy buy buy!

If only they'd fix our 582 Montgomery club promo emails :/

I know. And it usually frustrates me that they recycle so many. I think this set would benefit from their Bowman 1st photos being used though. This is probably the only time I'd cross my fingers that they do recycle.
